  • Publication number: 20220178362
Abstract: A peristaltic pump system is disclosed and can include a rigid backing and a rotor assembly comprising a central hub. The central hub can rotate along a central axis extending in an axial direction. The central hub can include one or more ball bearings or one or more rollers that are configured to rotate about a respective roller axis that intersects a central axis of the central hub. Located between the rigid backing and the rotor assembly can be tubing or a flow channel that is defined by the rigid backing and an elastomeric sheet. As the central hub rotates, the one or more rollers or ball bearings are configured to push against the tubing or the flow channel in the axial direction and can move along the tubing or the flow channel to move fluid through the tubing or the flow channel.

  • Patent number: 9382675
Abstract: A paving machine having electric powered systems in lieu of hydraulic systems for performing work at a work site may include an integrated generator operatively connected to a power source of the paving machine, such as an engine, to produce AC power. A power converter may receive the AC power and output DC power to electric motors, with each electric motor being operatively connected to a corresponding one of a plurality of mechanical components. The power converter may distribute power from the generator to the plurality of electric motors in response to commands to actuate the plurality of mechanical components input at an operator station. The electric powered systems may include propulsion devices, material conveyors, augers and the like.

  • Publication number: 20070267532
Abstract: An adapter for dispensing coreless or solid rolled product from an existing recessed roll product dispenser is disclosed. The adapter also allows for rolled product to be dispensed from the existing recessed dispenser where the rolls being dispensed may have a larger diameter than allowed by the recessed dispenser without the adapter. A system for dispensing coreless or solid rolled product from an existing recessed dispenser is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20070068878
Abstract: A liquid purification and separation apparatus for separation of pollutants in stormwater runoff is disclosed. This apparatus utilizes gravitational separation and tortuosity, resulting from a plurality of baffles both perpendicular to and oblique to the primary water flow direction, to trap substances less-dense and more-dense than water. The apparatus features improved resistance to pollutant remobilization through treatment of water volume rather than flow rates, using vertically stacked water columns of varying depths to settle small particles. An overflow structure diverts excessive liquid without interfering with purification and separation, and can be placed integrally within or external to the apparatus receptacle.

  • Publication number: 20050145745
Abstract: A sheet material dispenser includes a controller for automatically controlling the lengths of sheet materials dispensed from a continuous roll by identifying the type of sheet materials on the roll and dispensing suitable lengths of the identified sheet material. The dispenser desirably has a support for rotatably supporting a roll of sheet material carrying identification relating to the type of sheet material on the roll, and an identifier positioned in or adjacent the dispenser for identifying the type of sheet material on the roll. A processor receives data from the identifier, processes the data and generates an output command, and a controller controls the lengths of sheet material dispensed from the roll in response to the output command. In this way, more absorbent products may be dispensed in shorter lengths and less absorbent products may be dispensed in longer lengths.
