  • Publication number: 20240336669
Abstract: The invention provides novel compounds which are peptide hormone analogues, and which are useful in treating disorders such as diabetes and obesity. The compounds of the general sequence recited in the specification possess a tailored profile with regards to potency properties at the glucagon and GLP-1 receptors. With regard to in vivo properties, administration of example peptides of the invention have been shown, in animal models, to result in increased weight loss. Preferred compounds achieve this without reducing food intake significantly.

  • Patent number: 12067463
Abstract: A machine learning platform operating at a server is described. The machine learning platform accesses a dataset from a datastore. A task that identifies a target of a machine learning algorithm from the machine learning platform is defined. The machine learning algorithm forms a machine learning model based on the dataset and the task. The machine learning platform deploys the machine learning model and monitors a performance of the machine learning model after deployment. The machine learning platform updates the machine learning model based on the monitoring.

  • Patent number: 12031994
Abstract: An automated pre-analytical processing method and an apparatus for pre-analytical processing of samples to be forwarded to an adjacent analyzer for analysis. Rack label information is read and communicated to a processor. From the rack label information, the processor determines where to route the rack. The pre-analytical system has a rack robot that conveys racks to discrete locations depending upon the routing information assigned to the rack by the processor. The pre-analytical system has an automated station that reads the labels of individual sample containers in the rack that are brought to the automated station on instructions from the processor. Depending on the type of sample container and the type of sample disposed therein, the samples are either prepared for analysis by the automated station or the sample containers are directly passed through the automated station. Prepared samples and passed through samples are passed individually to a batching rack.

  • Patent number: 12029799
Abstract: The Dissolvable Solid Structure as described herein can be in the form of a fibrous structure comprising: (a) a polymeric structurant; (b) a high melting point fatty compound such as a fatty amphiphile, and (c) a cationic surfactant. The polymeric structurant has a weight average molecular weight of from about 10,000 to about 6,000,000 g/mol, and the components of the fibrous material form a homogenous material when molten. When water is added to the dissolvable solid structure at a ratio of about 5:1 a lamellar structure is formed.

  • Patent number: 12028276
Abstract: Aspects include includes receiving, at an input/output (I/O) processor, a transport control word (TCW) that includes an instruction to perform virtual port mirroring. The I/O processor identifies a first port to be mirrored and a virtual port to perform the mirroring. The virtual port is a first memory location in a memory. In response to outbound data being sent to the first port for transmission to a first target device and to the instruction specifying outbound port mirroring, the I/O processor stores a copy of the outbound data in the first memory location. In response to inbound data being received at the first port and to the instruction specifying inbound port mirroring, a copy of the inbound data is stored at the first memory location.
