  • Publication number: 20230042987
Abstract: A control device of an aerosol generating device includes a main control unit, and is connectable to a battery and a heater coil. The main control unit is configured to carry out one or more execution loops, a first execution loop includes applying a first power output to the heater coil for a first number of steps, disabling the first power output and thereby switching off the heater coil in a second number of steps, measuring a first heater coil voltage of the heater coil in a third number of steps, pausing with the heater coil switched off for a fourth number of steps, and measuring a first off-load battery voltage of the battery in a fifth number of steps. The main control unit is further configured to calculate an updated power output based upon the first heater coil voltage and first off-load battery voltage.

  • Publication number: 20210172150
Abstract: An annulus excavation tool that would surround the decayed pole or pile and hydraulically excavate the annulus around the pole down to ?2.0? via a jetting manifold. A vacuum/tremie manifold is selectively coupled to a vacuum source to remove the soil and decayed material and creating a bonding surface for the mortar. The annulus tool would then be coupled to the mortar source and raised while a UHPC mortar would be tremied into the tool for delivery into the annulus. When the tool reaches ground level the rest of the pour is done using a Sonotube or other temporary form. This mortar encasement not only makes up for the structural deficiencies but also isolates the pole from both air and water which then kills the existing fungi and insects while also preventing any future invasion.

  • Publication number: 20210025188
Abstract: Methods of reinforcing a functional component, which may include a support pole or an well casing. The methods include excavating a treatment section around the perimeter of the functional component. The methods may further comprise compacting a fill material up to a fill elevation. The methods further comprise casting a mortar mixture, including with UHPC up to an upper elevation above the ground surface. A forming structure may be implemented comprising a length that corresponds to the intended length of the UHPC pour. Another embodiment of the methods comprises installing a sealant component substantially around the perimeter of the functional component. The sealant component is structured to reciprocally move with the functional component during expansion and contraction thereof.
