  • Patent number: 12521592
Abstract: A training apparatus for training a user's grip and strength. A rod element is disposed through a female tube that is disposed at a first end of the rod. The rod extends through a male tube that is inserted into at least a portion of the female tube. A grommet is disposed on the rod, inside the female tube, and abutting the male tube. A fastening means couple to the first end of the rod, mitigating movement of the grommet toward the first end. A tensioner is rotatably attached to a second end of the rod, wherein when the tensioner is rotated clockwise it presses the male tube forward against the grommet, which is compressed between the male tube and fastening means, expanding inside the female tube. The grommet pressing against the inside of the female tube provides a desired resistance for a user rotating an attached training member.

  • Publication number: 20200311748
Abstract: A system, computer program, and database for the accurate determination of consumer spend at the individual household level by category using a combination of census spend data at the neighborhood (Consumer Block Group) level and demographic data. The invention defines a set of detailed measures of consumer spend and computes values for those measures using unique combinations of data and machine learning generating a CBG spend model and a household spend model to iteratively refine the spend models and derive therefrom individual household dollar spend amounts to accurately identify target households or groups of households most likely to respond to advertisements or consumer communications.

  • Patent number: 10622369
Abstract: A three-dimensional memory device includes semiconductor devices located on a semiconductor substrate, lower interconnect level dielectric layers embedding lower interconnect structures, an alternating stack of insulating layers and electrically conductive layers overlying the lower interconnect level dielectric layers and including stepped surfaces, memory stack structures vertically extending through the alternating stack, and contact via structures extending downward from the stepped surfaces through underlying portions of the alternating stack to the lower interconnect structures. Each of the contact via structures laterally contacts an electrically conductive layer located at the stepped surfaces, and provides electrical interconnection to an underlying semiconductor device. A top portion of each contact via structures contacts an electrically conductive layer, and is electrically isolated from other underlying electrically conductive layers.

  • Publication number: 20060143348
Abstract: A system, method, and apparatus for interchip communication between an extended serial peripheral interface (EPSI) master (210) chip having clocking capability and an EPSI slave (310) chip is disclosed. The method comprises the master chip selecting a slave chip (402), the master clocking data into the slave chip from the master chip and at the same time clocking data from the slave chip into the master chip (404), and processing the clocked in data to negotiate further data transfer (406) between the master chip and the slave chip. Selection of a slave chip by the master chip may also take place in response to an interrupt received by the master chip from the slave chip (502), with the master then clocking data in both directions (504) to negotiate further data transfer (506) between the master chip and the slave chip.

  • Publication number: 20050096647
Abstract: A catheter and catheter system for eccentric remodeling and/or removal of atherosclerotic material of a blood vessel of a patient include an elongate flexible catheter body with a radially expandable structure. A plurality of electrodes or other electrosurgical energy delivery surfaces can radially engage atherosclerotic material when the structure expands. An atherosclerotic material detector near the distal end of the catheter body may measure circumferential atherosclerotic material distribution, and a power source selectively energizes the electrodes to eccentrically remodel the measured atherosclerotic material.

  • Patent number: 6807787
Abstract: A system for joining blocks of foam, each block having a surface, using a connector system. The connector system including a first and second connector which each have a lateral flange for securing within one of the blocks of foam, beneath and parallel to the surface. The connector system has a mechanism for joining the first connector to the second connector to secure the blocks of foam together while holding the surfaces of the blocks closely against each other.

  • Patent number: 6748941
Abstract: A fireplace system, constructed of modules including a firebox, a chimney housing, and a base, each module substantially a block of foam. The firebox has a fire cavity which is lined with fire resistant board to protect the foam from direct exposure to heat. The chimney housing has a central bore and a flue extending concentrically therethrough which has an inner tube in communication with the fire cavity and a concentric and spaced outer tube which is attached to the central bore to impede the flow of heat from the inner tube to the foam chimney housing. The chimney housing, base, and firebox are selectively attached together using connector sets which each include a pair of connection devices, one of which is partially submerged and anchored within the foam of each of the modules to be joined. The modules are joined by mating the connection devices of each connection set.
