  • Publication number: 20230096609
Abstract: A connector is disclosed that includes a coupler having a socket end fluidically connected by a passage to a stem connected to a first fluid tube. A retainer housing having a cavity in axial alignment with the passage is installed on the coupler socket end and a retainer is installed in the retainer housing in a first position. A second fluid tube having a raised bead formed proximate an end portion of the second fluid tube is permitted to be installed into the retainer housing cavity by the retainer when the retainer is in the first position. Installation of the second fluid tube places the bead in the retainer housing and the end portion of the second fluid tube in the coupler passage providing a fluid path between the first fluid tube and the second fluid tube. The retainer is moved to a second position latching the bead to the retainer housing retaining the second fluid tube to the connector.

  • Publication number: 20110243818
Abstract: A system may include a urea injection device, first, second and third conduits and a valve. The first conduit may contain a fluid and may be in heat transfer relation with the urea injection device. The second conduit may be in selective fluid communication with the first conduit. The third conduit may be in selective fluid communication with the first conduit and in heat transfer relation with a heat source. The valve may be connected to the first, second and third conduits and may be movable between first and second positions. The first position may allow fluid communication between the first and third conduits and restrict communication between the first and second conduits. The second position may allow fluid communication between the first and second conduits and restrict fluid communication between the first and third conduits.

  • Patent number: 7396240
Abstract: An electrical connector includes a housing and a lever supported pivotally on at least one pivot disposed on the housing. The lever rotates on the pivot within a range from a pre-engagement position to a final engagement position. The lever also has a recess configured to fit a boss disposed on a mating connector therein in accordance with rotational movement of the lever. Further, the lever includes a locking portion disposed on a beam thereof. The locking portion includes a base portion extending downward from the beam, a latching arm extending from the base portion in a direction substantially tangent to the rotational movement; and a latching detent disposed in proximity of a free end of the latching arm. The latching detent is configured to engage with the engaging portion of the housing at the second position, and thereby rotational movement of the lever is restrained at the final engagement position.
