  • Patent number: 8070380
Abstract: A traffic channelizer is provided. In one implementation, the traffic channelizer may include upper and lower portions with a center region in between. The center region may include front and back surfaces joined together by multi-faceted end regions extending and tapered from the bottom of the traffic channelizer to the top of the traffic channelizer. A handle for carrying the traffic channelizer and a bracket for mounting a warning light or other signage may be provided at the top of the traffic channelizer. The front and back surfaces may include a recessed region for mounting a reflective material or other signage.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 12, 2008
Date of Patent: December 6, 2011
    Assignee: Plasticade
Inventors: Barry Pucillo, Stephen S. Simovits, Jr.

  • Publication number: 20090077849
Abstract: A sign frame comprises a pair of upstanding leg members each having a proximate end and a tapered distal end, at least one top member connecting the leg members at the proximate ends thereof, and at least one cross member connecting the leg members between the proximate and distal ends thereof. The members together define a first sign mounting area. Within the sign frame is at least one mounting flange extending into the first sign mounting area from the sign frame, and at least one elongated stiffening rib upstands from and extends along each of the leg members.

  • Patent number: 4573755
Abstract: This invention relates to a spark gap device which provides overvoltage protection; that is, if a voltage above a predetermined value is applied to a contact of a cathode ray tube socket, such voltage is dissipated to ground to thereby protect circuitry connected to the socket.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 22, 1984
Date of Patent: March 4, 1986
    Assignee: American Plasticraft Co.
    Inventor: Stephen S. Simovits, Jr.
  • Patent number: 4492950
Abstract: A thick film variable resistance assembly, such as for a cathode ray tube, having an improved contactor knob.
    Type: Grant
