  • Patent number: 7913327
Abstract: An automatically flushing toilet in which an extension arm is attached to a horizontal bar to which the toilet seat is attached. When the toilet seat is raised, one end of the extension arm moves downward, causing a rod on the end of the inner tube of a telescoping member located primarily inside the tank compartment of the toilet to move so that it is positioned atop a pivoting member located inside a cut-out on the same end of the extension arm. When the toilet seat is then closed, the one end of the extension arm moves upward, pushing the pivoting member against the rod and causing the rod to force the inner tube of the telescoping member upward. The inner tube is pivotally connected to a trip lever, which causes the toilet to flush.

  • Publication number: 20100327571
Abstract: A snowboard tether device comprising a base unit and a movable part. The base unit is affixed to a snowboard, and the movable part is connected to the base unit by a retractable cable. The cable is wound around a cable spool located inside the base unit. The base unit comprises a retractor housing that houses a retractor spring that causes the cable to retract. The base unit comprises a receiving area with a magnet, and the movable part comprises a magnet that is attracted to the magnet on the receiving area of the base unit. When the tether device is in use, the magnet on the movable part is coupled to a pocket token.

  • Publication number: 20100327572
Abstract: A pocket token for use with a snowboard tether device. The pocket token comprises a knob and a magnet that surrounds the knob. The knob of the pocket token is sized so as to fit within a well on an underside of a movable part of a snowboard tether device. The movable part of the snowboard tether device comprises a magnet that surrounds the well on the underside of the movable part. When the knob on the pocket token is inserted into the well on the underside of the movable part, the magnets of the movable part and pocket token are attracted to each other, thereby holding the pocket token in place against the underside of the movable part. In an alternate embodiment, the magnet of the pocket token is replaced with a metal ring. The pocket token optionally comprises a bottle opener.

  • Publication number: 20070029857
Abstract: An adjustable motion wheel chair having a mobility base for supporting a back panel and a seat panel. A pair of control plates are mounted to the mobility base and positioned laterally across the mobility base in spaced apart parallel relation. The back panel includes a pair of pivot pins located on opposite lateral edges of the back panel which are pivotally received by a respective control plate. A linkage member hingedly connects the seat panel to the back panel. Each control plate includes a forwardly extending stop for limiting the downward movement of a front edge of the seat panel. A latch member is attached to each control plate and is operable between a first position where the back panel is fixed in angular relation with the seat panel and a second position where the back panel is rotatable with respect to the seat panel.
