  • Publication number: 20090219403
Abstract: A passive portable imaging system for generating a viewable image of a darkened or low-light environment including a sensor made of laser-treated semiconductor material that is sensitive to low-light radiation, in some cases radiation at wavelengths longer than those of traditional visible light imager ranges. The imaging system can be incorporated into a personal electronic product such as a cellular phone or similar compact apparatus, and can provide security to a user who moves in or wishes to view a dark area and doesn't have a light source to illuminate the dark area.

  • Publication number: 20060082820
Abstract: A method and system for providing a user with an album including a plurality of pages is disclosed. The method and system include allowing a user to purchase at least a portion of the album including a portion of the plurality of pages. The user is allowed to set a plurality of defaults for configuring the plurality of pages. At least one default of the plurality of defaults is capable of being altered using information provided by the user. The information is received from the user separately from the user setting the plurality of defaults. The information, if any, is received together with an initial providing of digital image data for a plurality of images captured using a digital imaging device. The at least one default is altered if the user has provided the information. The portion of the plurality of pages is provided using the plurality of defaults and the user is allowed access to at least the portion of the album.

  • Publication number: 20050228683
Abstract: Aspects for integrating use of a portable image capture device into a workflow process are described. The aspects include initiating utilization of a portable image capture device with a workflow process, the workflow process including a template having at least one predetermined point at which data input, including captured image data, is expected. The portable image capture device directs collection of the data input and integrates the collected data input into the workflow process by automatically associating the collected data with the template, thereby generating an output document.

  • Publication number: 20040111370
Abstract: Using a single source money management system customers may automate their committed spending. A money management account and a discretionary fund account are established in response to a customer's request to participate in the system. A financial institution receives money on a periodic basis from a customer's predictable payment system. The money is then deposited/transferred to the money management account, retained in the money management account as required for bill payment, and/or deposited/transferred into the discretionary fund account if it is “excess.” Bills are paid on a customer determined schedule directly from the money management account using the money retained in the money management account. A loan account may also be established in response to a customer's application for a loan account. A financial institution grants a loan for a loan purchase in response to a customer's application for a loan purchase.
