  • Patent number: 12434350
Abstract: A venturi cartridge regulating device for an air-particle dispensing system is provided, which is designed to be pre-assembled and installed in a chamber capable of atmospheric pressurization to regulate the required proportions of air and particle in a mixture formed upon activation by a propellant source and to direct a stream of a particle-gas mixture out of the chamber toward a targeted surface. The apparatus includes a chamber comprising a first plurality of inlet holes and a second plurality of inlet holes; and a conduit arranged at least partially within the chamber having a first opening arranged in the chamber. The first plurality of inlet holes is configured to intake a first substance, the second plurality of inlet holes is configured to intake a second substance, and a mixture of the first and second substances is created and mixture enters the conduit through the first opening.

  • Patent number: 10239185
Abstract: A hand-held ejector tool for ejecting a pressurized stream of abrasive materials and a hopper assembly for use in the same is provided. The hand-held ejector tool includes a pressurized air source, a hopper assembly and a delivery conduit for ejecting a pressurized stream of abrasive material. The hopper assembly includes a containment area to store an abrasive material, an air conduit to receive pressurized air from the pressurized air source, a one-way valve to provide the pressurized air into an upper portion of the containment area, and a mixing device to mix the abrasive material and the pressurized air to create a pressurized stream of abrasive material. The delivery conduit may include a stylus to permit a controllable ejection the pressurized stream of abrasive material.

  • Publication number: 20050149202
Abstract: An improved liner (i.e., prosthetic liner) for covering a residual limb of an amputee is provided. According to one exemplary embodiment, the liner includes a fabric liner body that is formed of at least two fabric pieces and a stretch limiting element that is incorporated into an exterior surface of the distal end of the fabric liner body for reinforcement of the liner's distal end and for limiting stresses associated with distal end elongation. For example, the stretch limiting element can be in the form of a coating of a material that has limited flexibility and is integrally adhered to the outer surface of the fabric liner body such that the material seeps into the interior of the fabric liner body and optionally into any seams.
