Abstract: A remotely operated mirror wiping device comprising a frame, mirror, two guide rails, a wiper arm guided on each end by said guide rails with a spring loaded squeegee blade, a crossed loop cable with a tensioning spring, guide pulleys oriented to drive said wiper arm by means of said guide rails across said mirror by said cable, and an oscillating driving device consisting of either an oscillating motor with a drive pulley or a linear motor or cylinder with automatic reversal at each end.
