Abstract: A booster seat for use by children in a vehicle includes structure to position the shoulder portion of the seat belt at an appropriate position in relation to the child occupant. The belt is secured on lateral elements located on the sides of the seat back by a strap or a sleeve, which is fitted with hook and loop fasteners. The belt is slidably engaged and may be continuously and selectively positioned at the desired height for proper functioning of the belt. To prevent interference with the positioning device by the child occupying the seat, the strap may extend and be fixed to the upper surface of the lateral elements so that the end of the strap is above and behind the child's head.

Abstract: A restrainer device for infants for maintaining an infant generally stationary to prevent the infant from rolling while sleeping comprising a planar surface and two support cushions arranged in a spaced-apart relationship to each other on the planar surface. The planar surface preferably is a sheet or panel of fabric and at least one of the support cushions are releasably attached to the planar surface.
