    Abstract: A fish strike alarm apparatus comprises a housing, an electrical circuit, a power source, an alarm activated when the electrical circuit is completed and a fish strike detector that comprises a retaining member coupled to the housing, and a biased micro switch. The biased micro switch is configured in a normally closed setting and positioned a predetermined distance from the retaining member that causes the electrical circuit to be completed when a fish strike is detected.
