  • Patent number: 12229623
Abstract: A method for calibrating a value of an environmental condition derived information supplied by a wireless tag comprises: determining a value of an environmental condition impacting the wireless tag based on (i) information supplied by the wireless tag and (ii) a tag calibration model of the computing system; when a difference between the determined value of the environmental condition and a measurement of the environmental condition made by a user device exceeds a prescribed threshold, updating in real time, the tag calibration model, substituting the measurement of the environmental condition made by the user device for the determined value, and supplying in real time, as an output, the substituted measurement of the environmental condition made by the user device as if it was the value of the environmental condition derived from information supplied by the wireless tag.

  • Patent number: 12008618
Abstract: A system and method for method for providing an augmented reality tag viewer are provided. The method includes receiving, by a device, a low-energy encrypted beacon from a tag attached to a product, the beacon uniquely identifies the product; retrieving information about the product identified by the received beacon; determining if the product is present in a field of view of a camera of the device; upon determining that the identified product is present in the field of view of the camera, matching the product in the field of view with the retrieved information; and upon determining that the product in the field of view matches the retrieved information, overlaying an interface over the display to highlight the product.

  • Patent number: 11763353
Abstract: A system and method of detecting a pick-up of an item are provided. The method includes receiving at least one data packet from at least one IoT tag, extracting a frequency word from the at least one received data packet, wherein the frequency word is a measure of the at least one IoT, analyzing the frequency word to determine a pick-up event to be associated with a pick-up of the item attached to the at least one IoT tag, and upon detecting the pick-up event, sending a notification including an identification of the at least one IoT tag, wherein the notification incudes collateral product information associated with the picked-up item attached to the at least one IoT tag, and displaying the collateral product information of the picked-up item on a display on a physical location of the picked-up item.

  • Patent number: 11587108
Abstract: A system and method for detecting a pick-up of an item and determining analytics based on the detected pick-up. The method includes receiving data packets from a plurality of Internet of Things (IoT) tags, wherein each of the IoT tags is attached to a product, extracting a frequency word from each of the plurality of IoT tags, analyzing each of the extracted frequency words to detect a pick-up event associated with each IoT tag, and determining analytics related to an interest in the product based on the detected pick-up events.

  • Publication number: 20110125783
Abstract: By adaptive questioning in a way that is entertaining, recommendations can be presented to a subscriber even with a limited amount of user profile information. Moreover, the questioning can allow a subscriber to learn something about himself. Each interaction can be short as well as light hearted and fun in order to accommodate intermittent usage with frequent interruptions. Intermixing questions/recommendation selections that are focused on gaining profile information as well as being somewhat random can unexpectedly learn something about the subscriber while keeping the user experience entertaining. Personal details can be avoided and tools for editing stored personal information can enhance a sense of privacy in order to induce trust.
