  • Patent number: 6488245
Abstract: A point of sale display stand includes a peg type article display tray having side walls, an end wall forming shelf and a bottom wall which is inclined upright when in use. A tray support has a collapsible state and a deployed state. The support comprises two triangular sidewalls with medial foldlines and spaced upper and lower rear walls connected by foldlines to the sidewalls. A flat sheet material brace is attached to the lowermost support rear wall medially the upper and rear walls by a foldline. The support has two sets of two L-shaped tabs that mate in slots in the tray bottom wall. The bottom wall cooperates with the support three walls to form a four wall support for the tray. The tabs have cantilevered legs wherein an upper pair of tabs have their cantilevered legs facing upwardly and the lower pair of tabs have their cantilevered legs facing in the opposite direction downwardly when the display is in use.

  • Patent number: 6234433
Abstract: A point of sale display stand includes a peg type article display and a display support that has a collapsible state and a deployed state. The support comprises two triangular sidewalls with medial foldlines and spaced upper and lower rear walls connected by foldlines to the sidewalls. A flat sheet material brace is attached to the lowermost support rear wall by a foldline. An elastomeric member is connected to the brace and display rear wall. The brace and support rear and sidewalls fold in overlying relation in a collapsed state stretching the elastomeric member creating a potential energy tensile load therein. Initial lifting the support lowermost rear wall in the deployment direction automatically snap releases the brace to a deployed locked state deploying the support walls such that the support is in position to support the article display.

  • Patent number: 6216944
Abstract: A single one piece blank is folded over to form a gravity feed tube for point of sale display of products such as disposable cameras packaged in boxes with display cards. The rear wall has two overlying panels, the outer one of which has openings in a linear array and the other inner panel has locking tabs aligned with the openings. The tabs are pulled through the outer panel openings. The tabs have wings which engage the outer panel to lock the outer panel to the inner panel locking the blank in the tube configuration. A set of flaps in the bottom region form a feed opening and shelf for the product to be dispensed. A locking tab locks the bottom flaps closed. The side walls, front and rear walls have overlapping interior panel flaps at the top of the tube channel to provide a finished appearence to the interior at the open top.

  • Patent number: 6126254
Abstract: A counter display for cosmetics includes a substantially one piece corrugated paperboard comprising a rear wall, sidewalls having inner and outer side wall panels, top wall panel and bottom wall panel attached to each other at foldlines. A top section is formed with a top section front wall panel and with flaps that fold against the side and front panels. A bottom section is formed with further flaps and panels that form a bottom shelf and a bottom front wall panel. The bottom section forms a shelf that is locked to a slot in the rear wall with a tab. Shelves have flaps that are locked to the side walls between the inner and outer side wall panels. The upper side wall inner and outer panels lock top wall flaps in place. The inner panels are locked in place by tabs and slots in the rear wall.

  • Patent number: 5890607
Abstract: A preferably particle board box forms a base with a rectangular recess therein. A panel of slats that is formed of molded thermoplastic material has opposite edges attached to mating posts. The posts are formed from a common extruded thermoplastic tube and each have a longitudinally extending channel for receiving a panel edge which may be bonded thereto. An uppermost section is formed of like panel and post material as all of the section modules and is secured to the next lower intermediate section by post connectors comprising molded plastic U-shaped members which are locked to and protruding depending from the core of the upper section posts. The connectors mate in closely received releasable engagement with the open cores of the posts of the next lower section. The intermediate section module has depending connectors protruding from its posts for mating in the cores of the upper ends of the bottommost section module which is closely received in the support box recess and optionally screwed thereto.

  • Patent number: 5762207
Abstract: A corrugated paperboard header display panel comprising a single folded over sheet has discrete peg receiving apertures in a front sheet and slots in a rear sheet aligned with the apertures. The panel is supported by a pair of triangular supports of a folded over paper board sheet formed as a one piece corrugated support and brace structure. The supports are interlocked to the display panel with aligned slots. The supports have an inclined upper edge that terminates at the support edge in the front region and at an upper point of a vertical rear edge. A brace is hinged to and between the supports at a fold line at the support vertical rear edge. A flap is hinged to the brace at a fold line and has a pair of tabs extending therefrom hinged at a further fold line. The display panel rear sheet has a member hinged thereto which forms a tab receiving slot for securing the flap to the header panel.

  • Patent number: 5758783
Abstract: A tray is formed of a single corrugated sheet of paperboard and has two opposite side walls formed by overlapping panels creating a slot between the panels in each side wall. A pair of tabs depends from each side wall for engaging the slots of a next lower tray. A support box has crossed upright support members therein to support the trays. The box has two upstanding tabs on opposite sides to engage the side wall slots at the bottom wall of the lowermost trays. A triangular cap has two depending tabs on each side for engaging the slots of the trays in an uppermost tier. Straps on each tray secure that tray to slots in the next upper tray. The tray bottom wall is formed into two sections with a forward section inclined and formed of multiple layers of sheets to enhance the strength of the forward section. The trays are stacked in back-to-back relation in any number of levels and have a tree-like appearance from the side and are accessible from opposite fronts of the display stand.
