  • Publication number: 20170049615
Abstract: A device for warming or rehabilitating a muscle for maintaining muscle readiness in sporting events or for retaining body heat. The disclosure identifies a device for warming or rehabilitating a muscle that includes a muscle wrap using a nylon layer and an insulation material. The muscle wrap works in combination with at least one fastener band to offer an athlete the ability to conform the device to a body for heat retention while minimizing blood flow restriction. The nylon layer retains internal body moisture to deter evaporative cooling while repelling external moisture to deter temperature reduction in the muscle.

  • Publication number: 20080316213
Abstract: An apparatus and method are described for displaying a topological graph that allows a user to navigate through a history of previous topology displays to increase the user's understanding and awareness of the state of the topology. In a preferred embodiment, a topology display mechanism receives state changes to a topology of a computer network and stores a sequence of graphs that reflect the changes that are made to the topology. The topology display mechanism also allows the user to step through the sequence of stored topology graphs using “video” type controls to change the display of the topology graphs. In other embodiments, the topology display mechanism displays the changes in the topology as a sequence of graphs that form an animation to give the user a graphical visualization of the changes from one topology graph in the sequence to the next.

  • Publication number: 20070261285
Abstract: A modular hand grip for use on a firearm, the modular hand grip includes an upper portion, a lower portion and a coupling assembly. A rearward end of the upper portion is configured to engage a top portion of a barrel nut. Lug rails having gaps therein project from an inner surface of the upper portion at opposing sides and proximate edges thereof. The coupling assembly is engagable with a bottom portion of the barrel nut and is attached to the rearward end of the upper portion. The lower portion has opposing side sections, each terminating at an edge. A plurality of spaced apart lugs extend from each edge and are receivable in the gaps in the lug rails of the upper portion and are translatable in one of a forward direction and a rearward direction positioning the lugs under the lug rails.

  • Patent number: 6481241
Abstract: An accumulator for an automotive air-conditioning system includes a suction tube having an inlet leg, an outlet leg, and a bight therebetween. A pickup filter is mounted to the bight of the suction tube and cooperates with a desiccant bag. The pickup filter has a clasp circumscribing a portion of the bight, wherein the clasp includes a flange extending therefrom. The pickup filter further has a screen filter body extending integrally and downwardly from the clasp. The desiccant bag includes a flap extending from one end, wherein the flap includes an aperture therethrough defining a locating edge at one end or side thereof. The aperture of the desiccant bag mounts over the pickup filter with the locating edge of the flap locating against a portion of the clasp of the pickup filter to assist in retaining the desiccant bag in position on the pickup filter.

  • Patent number: 5682169
Abstract: A method and system are disclosed which permit the presentation of single and double digit selection field in a non-programmable terminal. Multiple numeric characters associated with particular textual choices are coupled to a workstation controller interface along with an identified offset within each textual choice to a selected mnemonic character. If an associated terminal display device does not support more advanced graphic elements, such as so-called "radio buttons" and underscored mnemonics, the numeric characters and textual choices are entered into a format table entry and utilized to specify a selection field within the terminal display. A single or double digit numeric indicator area is then defined within the terminal display and numeric entries within the selection field are displayed within the numeric indicator area, permitting the user to visually affirm what textual choice will be selected upon entry.

  • Patent number: 4867934
Abstract: A microporous nylon hollow fiber is prepared by extruding a nylon spinning solution through an annular slit of an orifice into a quench liquid while simultaneously introducing a core liquid into the inside hollow portion of the extruded spinning solution where the weighted densities of the spinning solution, quench liquid and the core liquid are regulated such that the average of the density of the core liquid and the spinning solution is about equal to the density of the quench liquid.
