  • Patent number: 11391851
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for systems and methods to provide a radiation detector module for a radiation detector. A radiation detector module includes a metallic and/or metalized enclosure, a radiation sensor disposed within the enclosure, readout electronics configured to provide radiation detection event signals corresponding to incident ionizing radiation in the radiation sensor, and a cap including an internal interface configured to couple to the readout electronics and an external interface configured to couple to a radiation detector, where the cap is configured to hermetically seal the radiation sensor within the enclosure. The cap may be implemented as an edge plated printed circuit board (PCB) including a slot configured to mate with a planar edge of an open surface of the enclosure, where the slot is soldered to the planar edge of the enclosure to hermetically seal the radiation sensor within the enclosure.

  • Patent number: 6669419
Abstract: A probe locking washer (10) for substantially preventing unwanted loosening of a probe mounted on a receiver unit of an animal training device in which the receiver unit is mounted on an animal collar. The probe locking washer (10) of the present invention includes a disk member (25) having an upper surface (30) and a lower surface (35) and a centrally disposed hole member (40) which allows the probe locking washer (10) to be mounted on the mounting post (20). The probe locking washer (10) also includes a countersink member (45) disposed in the lower surface (35) of the disk member (25) and which includes a plurality of internal radial spline teeth (50) for providing radial resistance to any untightening force caused by vibration or other untightening force.

  • Patent number: 6421100
Abstract: An apparatus for checking the alignment of a projection lens assembly includes a base for mounting the apparatus on the projection lens assembly, a gimbal system having a bottom section mounted to the base and a top section, the gimbal system having position adjusters for adjusting the position of the bottom section in two orthogonal direction with respect to the base, and having tilt adjusters for angularly adjusting a plane of the top section with a plane of the base, and a laser generator mounted on the top section. The position adjusters and the tilt adjusters are used to position a laser beam to be emitted by the laser generation to be coaxial with a central axis of the projection lens assembly. When the laser generator is then energized, the laser beam forms a visible red dot on the rear projection screen and, using simple measurements, an operator is able to verify the alignment of the projection lens assembly in the rear projection television receiver.
