  • Publication number: 20180352444
Abstract: A system, in an active reflector device, adjusts a first amplification gain of each of a plurality of radio frequency (RF) signals received at a receiver front-end from a first equipment via a first radio path of an NLOS radio path. A first phase shift is performed on each of the plurality of RF signals with the adjusted first amplification gain. A combination of the plurality of first phase-shifted RF signals is split at a transmitter front-end. A second phase shift on each of the split first plurality of first phase-shifted RF signals is performed. A second amplification gain of each of the plurality of second phase-shifted RF signals is adjusted.

  • Patent number: 10142006
Abstract: A calibration system, in a receiver chip, receives a plurality of receive signals at a plurality of receive paths. A first receive path and a second receive path is selected for a first receive signal and a second receive signal, respectively. A first signal parameter of the second receive signal is adjusted relative to the first signal parameter of the first receive signal to maximize a first signal strength value of an added signal or minimize a second signal strength value of a subtracted signal. Based on the adjusted first signal parameter, an offset of the first signal parameter is calibrated. Further, based on a matching of the second signal parameter in the second receive path relative to the second signal parameter in the first receive path, value of the second signal parameter is calibrated.

  • Publication number: 20180322917
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide systems and methods for re-balancing the stability of a SRAM cell. Embodiments of the present invention identify SRAM cells with negative voltage threshold margins and write a “zero” state bit with in the bi-stable flip-flop of the SRAM. Raising the voltage of the CMOS set containing the “zero” state bit and selective transistor biasing, skews the “zero” state bit towards the complementary “one” state bit. This induces an increase voltage thresholds of the identified SRAM cells.

  • Publication number: 20180323853
Abstract: A calibration system, in a transmitter chip, selects a first transmit path for a first transmit signal and a second transmit path for a second transmit signal. The plurality of transmit paths are associated with a plurality of antenna elements. A first signal parameter of the second transmit signal is adjusted relative to the first signal parameter of the first transmit signal to maximize a first signal strength value of an added signal or minimize a second signal strength value of a subtracted signal. An offset of the first signal parameter is calibrated based on the adjusted first signal parameter in the second transmit path. A value of a second signal parameter is calibrated based on a matching of the second signal parameter in the second transmit path relative to the second signal parameter in the first transmit path.

  • Publication number: 20180300322
Abstract: Asynchronous snapshot invalidation techniques are described. According to various such techniques, an enhanced file handle structure may be defined that includes a snapshot generation ID that is to comprise a value that singularly identifies a snapshot performed at a particular point in time. In some embodiments, when a snapshot ID assigned to that snapshot is reused at a subsequent point in time, a different snapshot generation ID may be assigned to that subsequent snapshot. With respect to an in-core cache, the differing snapshot generation IDs may eliminate unacceptable ambiguity regarding respective file information sets corresponding to the initial and subsequent snapshots sharing the same snapshot ID. As a result, obsolete file information sets may be cleared from the in-core cache asynchronously, enabling improved performance. The embodiments are not limited in this context.

  • Patent number: 9935663
Abstract: The power combiner circuit includes a transformer having a first primary coil coupled to a first power amplifier (PA), a second primary coil coupled to a second PA, and a secondary coil. The secondary coil supplies a current to an antenna based on a first direction of a first phase of a first amplified constant-envelope signal in the first primary coil with respect to a second phase of a second amplified constant-envelope signal in the second primary coil. A first load impedance is associated with the first PA and a second load impedance is associated with the second PA. The first load impedance and the second load impedance receive currents from the first PA and second PA, respectively, based on a second direction of the first phase of the first amplified constant-envelope signal with respect to the second phase of the second amplified constant-envelope signal.

  • Publication number: 20180032407
Abstract: An application may store data to a dataset comprising a plurality of volumes stored on a plurality of storage systems. The application may request a dataset image of the dataset, the dataset image comprising a volume image of each volume of the dataset. A dataset image manager operates with a plurality of volume image managers in parallel to produce the dataset image, each volume image manager executing on a storage system. The plurality of volume image managers respond by performing requested operations and sending responses to the dataset image manager in parallel. Each volume image manager on a storage system may manage and produce a volume image for each volume of the dataset stored to the storage system. If a volume image for any volume of the dataset fails, or a timeout period expires, a cleanup procedure is performed to delete any successful volume images.

  • Publication number: 20160314205
Abstract: In various example embodiments, a system and method for generating a discovery page that depicts item aspects are presented. A query that includes an identifier of an item is received from a client device. A category of items that includes the item described in the query is identified using the identifier of the item. One or more aspects that correspond to a group of items included in the category of items are determined. Item listings for the group of items from the category of items are accessed. A discovery page that depicts the accessed item listings of the group of items in relation to the one or more aspects is generated. Display of the generated discovery page is caused.
