  • Patent number: 11966418
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for adaptive data replication. A first data object is stored. One or more first network characteristics of a communication network are detected. A first replication mode is triggered (e.g., a single-master replication mode) based on the one or more first network characteristics of the communication network. The single-master replication may be configured to facilitate real-time synchronizations (e.g., for critical updates). One or more second network characteristics of the communication network are detected. A second replication mode (e.g., a multi-master replication mode) is triggered based on the one or more second network characteristics. The second replication may be configured to facilitate a delayed synchronization (e.g., for non-critical updates) of the first data object and the second data object using the second update file.

  • Publication number: 20240073423
Abstract: Techniques for content-adaptive encoder configuration are described herein. In accordance with various embodiments, a device (e.g., a content-based toolset configurator) including a processor and a non-transitory memory receives one or more frames in a media stream and a performance target of an encoder. The content-based toolset configurator performs cycles of pre-analysis of the one or more frames to generate content features within the performance target, assigns a content class to the one or more frames based on the content features, a previous classification, and the performance target, and sets configurations of the encoder for encoding the one or more frames corresponding to the content class and the performance target.

  • Patent number: 11079118
Abstract: A combined ventilation hood and microwave oven system (10) with an overall vertical dimension (30) is provided, which is smaller than a conventional combined ventilation hood and microwave oven. One or more vent hood fans (66;74) are disposed on lateral sides of a microwave coo-king cavity (34) to draw in exhaust air (92;93) through one or more vent inlets (54;56;158;160) disposed on a bottom surface (20;156) and expel the exhaust air (92;93;162) through one or more vent outlets (46;52) defined on a surface of an outer wrapper (80) of the combined system. The low-profile combined ventilation hood and microwave oven system is coupled with a modular heating system (150;180) for heating food, which provides both functions within the space typically required by the conventional combined ventilation hood and microwave oven.
