  • Patent number: 8864466
Abstract: A cooling device for cooling the slots of a turbomachine rotor disk is provided. The turbomachine includes an upstream rotor disk having a fastener flange with a periphery that is festooned; a downstream rotor disk; an endplate for holding blades and arranged around the ring of the downstream disk and co-operating therewith to form an air diffusion cavity; a cone for driving disks in rotation and having a fastener flange with a periphery that is festooned; and a plurality of bolted connections passing from upstream to downstream through the fastener flanges of the upstream disk and of the cone, the fastener flange of the endplate, and the fastener flange of the downstream disk. The fastener flange of the endplate is pierced by ventilation orifices opening out into the air diffusion cavity, the cavity opening out into the slots of the downstream disk at their upstream ends.

  • Patent number: 8727719
Abstract: A radial annular flange including in inner or outer periphery alternating solid portions including orifices for passing fastener bolts, and hollow portions having bottoms that are substantially flat. The bottom of at least one keying hollow portion is situated radially inside, or outside, respectively, a circle centered on the axis of the flange and externally, or respectively internally, tangential to the orifices. Two hollow portions are situated on either side of the keying hollow portion having bottoms of concave curved shapes situated radially on the outside, or respectively on the inside, relative to the flat bottoms of the other hollow portions.

  • Publication number: 20100172761
Abstract: A method of fabricating a turbomachine compressor drum comprising at least one rotor disk connected to an annular flange on the same axis via a wall of revolution, the method consisting in making said wall of revolution with a local annular extra thickness of material, and then once said wall of revolution has become deformed in use, in cutting through the extra thickness and in removing the wall, in positioning a new wall of revolution to take the place of the removed wall, and in welding the new wall to the drum.
