Abstract: The present invention relates to one or more patterns (particularly camouflage patterns), to any article comprising one or more of such patterns, and to business methods relating thereto. Such patterns comprise one or more images of any animal or part thereof and may comprise other images such as plant images. In a preferred aspect, the animal is an insect such as a flying insect including a moth or butterfly. Articles, people and/or animals that are covered in all or part by the camouflage patters of the invention are more difficult to detect (for example by sight) than those articles, people and/or animals not comprising such camouflage pattern. Thus, the invention is useful in hunting and military applications where concealment is important.

Abstract: Soap bars (10) that are not of essentially a square or rectangular shape, but of a generally rectangular shape, can be packaged using a single plastic film wrapper (40). This plastic film (40) preferably is biaxially oriented polypropylene of from about 60 micron to about 180 microns. It can be a monolayer or a multilayer laminated. However, any plastic film having a Faber stiffness of more than about 5 and preferably about 7 to 20 can be used. The soap bar (10) in order to facilitate making an effective longitudinal seal on the bottom of the soap bar package should have a planar surface adjacent to the position of the overlapping longitudinal edges of the wrapping film (40). This provides a surface for the sealing plate LO seal the longitudinal edges against.

Abstract: A vehicle safety system for impeding an occupant's egress from a vehicle is provided. A barrier is deployed, either manually or automatically, to cover at least a portion of the vehicle's exit in order to impede an occupant from egressing through the exit. The barrier may be a passive barrier or a reactive barrier. The barrier may also be a combination of a passive and a reactive barrier or the combination of several reactive barriers.

Abstract: A matte ink composition and method for using the composition to produce a superior matte-gloss contrast finish. The matte ink composition comprises (1) an oleoresinous component, (2) a matte agent to impart a matte finish, (3) a cobalt catalyst to accelerate drying of the composition, and (4) an etching agent to condition a gloss surface to promote adherence of the ink composition to the gloss surface. To prepare a matte-gloss finish according to the present invention, a printing substrate is first coated with a gloss film lamination and, after the gloss coating has adequately dried, the matte ink composition of the present invention is lithography printed onto the gloss surface. This novel matte ink composition provides a superior inatte-gloss contrast finish without the need for specialized UV equipment and procedures.

Abstract: A shelter may be readily assembled or disassembled from a plurality of identical shelter supports. Each shelter support is formed from an outer beam placed in a divergent relationship to an inner beam. The converging ends of each beam are capped by a first end member. The diverging ends of each beam are capped by a second end member. The second end member forms an acute angle with the horizontal when the first end member is placed on the ground. Thus, with the first shelter support placed as a column support the second end member is presented for engaging a second end member of a second shelter as a roof support. The truss thus formed from the two shelter supports is joined at an apex portion with other similar trusses in various arrangements conveniently to form shelters of different shapes which can be readily assembled and disassembled.

Abstract: A folding apparatus for folding a plurality of sheets of multiple lengths such as mail statements, which includes a plurality of folder rollers, one or more folder gates, and a kicking plate associated with one of the folder gates. An input transport system provides statements to the folder rollers, and an exit transport system receives folded statements therefrom. A system controller monitors movement of statements through the folder rollers and folder gates of the apparatus by a plurality of sensors, and directs operation of the kicker gate at the appropriate time to push or eject the folded statements from the folder rollers. The action of the kicker plate prevents undesirable folding of the tips of shorter sheets in the statement while folding the longer sheet or sheets of the statement.

Abstract: According to the present invention, there is provided a wire terminal and assembly. The wire terminal and assembly comprises a wire way which is connected to a pivot support plate. An assembly hinge plate is provided with a hinge which in turn is clipped onto the hinge with a clip. A DIN rail is attached to the assembly hinge plate and an upright support plate is connected to the wire way. A terminal block is removably attached to the DIN rail. Primary and secondary terminals are connected to the terminal block. It should be appreciated that the terminal block has a base member which is integrally connected to a wire guide and a terminal component housing. Finally, it should be appreciated that the wire guide and terminal component housing is provided with a space therebetween, the wire way provides a housing for wire.
