Publication number: 20250022004Abstract: A deal value metric (or “deal score”) enables consumers to identify the quality of a ticket listing, and facilitates direct comparison of available event tickets having varying quality throughout a venue. The deal value metric disclosed herein also permits simultaneous comparison of tickets among multiple similar events, and provides a helpful criterion to supplement conventional search filters such as location or price.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 27, 2024Publication date: January 16, 2025Inventors: Jon D GROETZINGER, Eric R.J. WALLER, Russell P. D'SOUZA, Adam D. COHEN, Steve Andrew RITTER

Patent number: 11632326Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods are provided for transmitting and retransmitting data. A first message transmitted by a sender computing entity to a receiver computing entity over a first port may exercise a first network path whereas a second message transmitted over a second port may exercise a second network path. A system (e.g., sender computing entity) may determine network reliability metrics for a plurality of network paths. If a system detects data loss (e.g., packet loss) on a first port, a second port may be selected based on network reliability metrics for retransmission of the lost data. A port may for example, be selected for retransmission based on the following criteria: (1) the port has the longest consecutive duration without packet loss and (2) the port has received an acknowledgement for a packet that was sent more recently than the initial transmission of the lost packet.Type: GrantFiled: June 15, 2021Date of Patent: April 18, 2023Assignee: Amazon Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Ryan Hegar, Evan Statton, Norman Bright, Steve Andrew Orchard

Patent number: 11623378Abstract: A system includes a cavity, an injection nozzle configured to inject material into the cavity, and a plurality of sensors at sensor locations. Each of the plurality of sensors is configured to measure parameters at one of the sensor locations. The system lacks a strain gauge. The system further includes a controller configured to control a flow rate of the injection of material into the cavity. The controller is configured to receive the measured parameters and compare the received information to predetermined curves. The controller is configured to control the flow rate when the measured parameters deviate from the predetermined curves.Type: GrantFiled: May 7, 2021Date of Patent: April 11, 2023Assignee: IMFLUX INC.Inventors: Milko Gergov, Chow-Chi Huang, Steve Andrew Burns, Rick Alan Pollard

Patent number: 9908703Abstract: A robotic storage assembly includes a safe that may a plurality of items. A drawer is slidably coupled to the safe. A control is coupled to the safe and the control may be manipulated. A storage unit is positioned within the safe to contain the plurality of items. The storage unit includes a plurality of trays. A spacing unit is positioned within the safe and the spacing unit engages the plurality of trays. The spacing unit selectively spaces the trays apart from each other. A retrieval unit is positioned within the safe. The retrieval unit is selectively positioned between the trays when the trays are spaced apart. Thus, the retrieval unit retrieves the items in the storage unit. The retrieval unit is selectively aligned with the drawer to deposit the items in the drawer. Thus, the items may be removed from the safe.Type: GrantFiled: April 18, 2016Date of Patent: March 6, 2018Inventors: Brandon Andrews, Steve Andrews

Patent number: 9589253Abstract: A workflow authoring system is described herein that provides a design-time authoring environment and a runtime component for displaying interactive, structured instructional content. The authoring environment provides custom controls, templates, and sample pages that allow authors to create a runnable workflow application. The application is a structured, interactive content type that provides users a better way to learn about data flows, workflows, and processes. The application also provides the ability to filter content based on specific actions the user takes, answers that the user provides, information that is retrieved from the user's environment, and so forth. This content model facilitates improved net satisfaction (NSAT) with software products, as users more readily find the information they are looking for and receive more dynamic instructional material. Authors that may not have programming experience can use the system to create rich, interactive content.Type: GrantFiled: June 15, 2010Date of Patent: March 7, 2017Assignee: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Douglas A.
