  • Publication number: 20120052990
Abstract: Garments for sports throw training are provided. An exemplary garment includes a sleeve of flexible material having an open end and terminate end. The sleeve defines an internal cavity extending between the open and terminate ends. The internal cavity includes a first portion that is generally larger than a second portion of the internal cavity. The sleeve defines an opening at the open end for enclosing portions of the hand, forearm and elbow of the arm. The sleeve defines an enclosure at the terminate end that encloses the second portion of the internal cavity for retaining an object within the internal cavity when the object is released by the hand. A fastener is attached to the sleeve and adapted for compressive attachment of the sleeve to the arm when the arm is positioned within the internal cavity.

  • Publication number: 20100202901
Abstract: A self-lubricating water-cooled piston-style water pump has a unitary pump housing with a crankcase in direct water communication with the water pump inlet. A low pressure chamber is in direct water communication with the crankcase. A compression chamber is in direct pressurized water communication with a high pressure water manifold through a one-way valve. A high pressure water pump outlet extends outwardly from the manifold to the exterior of the housing. A crankshaft is connected to a connecting rod and a plunger rod, both of which are lubricated and water-cooled in the crankcase. A compression plunger has water channels therethrough connected to the plunger rod and in water communication with the low pressure chamber. The plunger is reciprocal within the compression chamber. A second one-way valve is on the plunger in the compression chamber to let water into the compression chamber.

  • Publication number: 20070113551
Abstract: A turbocharger includes a compressor wheel having back-to-back impellers (i.e., a forward-facing impeller and a rearward-facing impeller) mounted on the same shaft. The two impellers are independently supplied with inlet air via separate inlet ducts and discharge pressurized air to a common volute. The inlet duct for the rearward-facing impeller comprises a generally axially extending tubular conduit having an upstream end and a downstream end, the tubular conduit being bifurcated at the downstream end into a pair of separate duct branches that divide an air stream flowing through the tubular conduit into a pair of separate air streams. The duct branches direct the air streams radially inwardly and then re-join the streams and turn the air to an axial direction into the second impeller.

  • Publication number: 20020054153
Abstract: Current portable radiotelephones generally comprise at a least a numeric keypad, for composing telephone numbers, and a number of additional function keys, for initiating communications to a desired telephone number, turning the radiotelephone on and off etc. It is also common for the numeric keypad to also contain alphabetic representations, for allowing the construction of textual messages. Typically, each numeric key represents three alphabetic characters, for example, the numeric key ‘2’ often also represents characters ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’. During the construction of a textual message, each press of a numeric key causes a display to cycle through each character represented by that key. For example, a first press of numeric key ‘2’ would cause the character ‘A’ to be displayed, a second press would cause the character ‘B’ to be displayed and so on.
