  • Patent number: 12601441
Abstract: Disclosed are a method, a device and/or a system of a hose restraint device installable on a hose carrying a pressurized fluid and a fitting thereof during operation of the hose. In accordance therewith, the hose restraint device includes a cable and link components that receive portions of the cable bent around the hose and the fitting. The link components each includes a slot through which the cable passes and a notched slot in which a bent portion of the cable is received. Based on loop-based connections of the hose restraint device to the hose and the fitting, the anchoring of the bent portions of the cable to the link components is supplemented by a restoring force of a spring surrounding the cable and expanding between the link components of the hose restraint device to then be solely delimited thereby.

  • Publication number: 20260071712
Abstract: Disclosed are a method and a hose restraint assembly for a pressurized fluid hose. The assembly includes a first cable loop and a second cable loop formed from a continuous cable and spaced longitudinally apart along the hose. Each cable loop is configured to encircle the hose and terminate at a common anchoring assembly. A protective sleeve is positioned around each of the first and second cable loops and disposed in contact with the hose. The common anchoring assembly is configured to transfer tensile energy from the continuous cable to a fixed structural support during a hose failure event. The first and second cable loops are configured to constrict and tighten passively around the hose as the hose contracts under pressure.

  • Patent number: 6038438
Abstract: A mobile communication system with a plurality of mobile telephones including an emergency radio beacon transmitting mobile telephone with an emergency radio beacon transmitter that is selectively activated in response to receipt from a coded emergency beacon activation signal from a beacon activating emergency center. The emergency beacon activating center determines whether an emergency call is from an emergency beacon capable mobile telephone based on receipt of the call on a dedicated emergency beacon capable trunk . Alternatively, the determination is based on a suffix number added to the emergency center number by an MSC/VLR switch prior to connection to the emergency center or is based on an emergency beacon capable indicating code added to the calling party's number.
