  • Publication number: 20080210695
Abstract: An insulated folding trivet comprising a bottom panel and side panels made of decorative fabric stores flat and folds up to form a trivet for use with hot or cold serving dishes. The sides are foldably attached to the bottom and include releasable connectors to hold the sides in their upright position during use. The trivet may be designed to encase multiple serving dishes with a variety of shapes and sizes.

  • Publication number: 20080001484
Abstract: An electromagnetic vibrator has a movable magnet that can move linearly in an axial direction. A field coil surrounds the movable magnet. Magnetic bumpers are disposed on opposite ends of the vibrator, and are oriented to repel the movable magnet. When an alternating current is provided in the field coil, the movable magnet oscillates linearly in the axial direction, bumping against the magnetic field of the bumper magnets and thereby creating vibration. The movable magnet may have a toroidal shape and be disposed on an axial shaft to linearly constrain the motion of the movable magnet. Two field coils can be provided to simultaneously create push and pull forces on the movable magnet. The bumper magnets can be replaced with compression springs. The electromagnetic vibrator can be very small and energy efficient; it is well suited for use in portable electronic devices, cell phones, toys, industrial mixers, and massage devices.

  • Publication number: 20070280788
Abstract: An apparatus provides a means for retaining an anchor bolt in a generally vertical position as concrete slurry is poured around the anchor bolt. The apparatus comprises a generally horizontal first member, fashioned from wire material, which spans between two parallel lengths of rebar material. Each end of the first member is adapted to attach to a length of rebar material. Attached to the first member is a second member, also fashioned from wire material, which clips to the body of the anchor bolt. When installed, the second member and the anchor bolt will be generally transverse to the first member, and oriented in a generally vertical direction.
