  • Publication number: 20240367508
Abstract: Embodiments of a fluid tank may comprise suction tube system that comprises a floating suction tube useful for filling or removing a fluid from the tank. Further in some embodiments, the tank system may be installed in a single port on the fluid tank. A buoyant portion of the suction tube can be constantly submerged in a desired portion of the fluid, allowing the desired fluid to be removed through the inlet port. A level indicator system may include a cable system connected between a biased level indicator that moves in conjunction with the movement of the buoyant portion to indicate the fluid level.

  • Patent number: 12083878
Abstract: Embodiments of a fluid tank may comprise tank system that comprise a level indicator system useful for measuring the amount of fluid in the tank and a floating suction tube useful for filling or removing a fluid from the tank. Further in some embodiments, the tank system may be installed in a single port on the fluid tank. Some fluid tanks comprise stratified layers of different fluids. A buoyant portion of the suction tube can be constantly submerged in a desired portion of the fluid, allowing the desired fluid to be removed through the inlet port. The level indicator system may include a cable system connected between a biased level indicator that moves in conjunction with the movement of the buoyant portion to indicate the fluid level. In the alternative, the level indicator system can include sensors on the suction tube to remotely monitor the level of liquid in the tank; sensors include inclinometers, accelerometers, sending units, and magnetostrictive sensors.

  • Publication number: 20140318278
Abstract: A multiple layer test card including an input channel formed in a layer of the test card, an output channel formed in another layer of the test card, and a filter coupled between the input channel and the output channel to receive fluid from the first channel and collect white blood cells such that the collected white blood cells are optically visible proximate a first surface of the filter.

  • Publication number: 20060130218
Abstract: A rear zipper sock includes a generally cylindrical sock body having a foot portion, a generally upright leg portion and a heel section intermediate the foot portion and the leg portion with a rear open seam formed in the leg portion extending from the top of the leg portion downwards at least partially through the heel section, the rear open seam extending generally upright and parallel with the center upright axis of the leg portion of the sock body. A zipper closure device is mounted on the sock body adjacent the rear open seam, the zipper closure device operative for alternately opening and closing the rear open seam such that a user can open the zipper closure device and insert the foot into the foot portion without requiring significant bending of the ankle or knee during the fitting.
