  • Patent number: 12179728
Abstract: An aircraft braking system for an aircraft, the aircraft including first and second brakes, and first and second energy distribution systems for delivering energy to the first and second brakes to operate the respective first and second brakes. The aircraft braking system is switchable between: a first configuration, in which the first energy distribution system is coupled to the first brake and is isolated from the second brake, and the second energy distribution system is coupled to the second brake and is isolated from the first brake; and a second configuration, in which the first energy distribution system is coupled to both the first and second brakes.

    Assignee: AIRBUS OPERATIONS LIMITED
Inventors: George Howell, Laia Navarro, Florian Becher, Steve David, Joy Au, Benjamin Kerr
  • Patent number: 12037724
Abstract: A method of fabricating a rope that can serve as both a resistance band, jump or rolling rope includes the steps of: (a) braiding a plurality of elastic tubes into a braided rope which has two ends, (b) forming a loop at each of these ends, (c) securing each of these loops to this braided rope with a knot or a zip tie, (d) attaching a handle to this braided rope proximate each of these ends, (e) wherein these elastic tubes are: (i) fabricated from materials in the group including a latex rubber and a non-latex, synthetic rubber, (ii) selected from the group including those having differing diameters, wall thicknesses, and weights per linear foot, and (iii) selected to makeup a specific, braided rope having a specified elasticity and weight per linear foot.

  • Publication number: 20050114980
Abstract: A wader includes a wader leg and a leg insulator. The leg insulator is placed in contact with the wader leg and provides thermal insulation for a user's leg when the user is wearing the wader. However, the leg insulator can be easily and conveniently removed from the wader leg while the user's leg is positioned within the wader leg. Therefore, it is not necessary for the user to remove the wader in order to reduce the amount of thermal insulation provided to his or her leg.
