  • Publication number: 20230068941
Abstract: One embodiment of a computer-implemented method for processing a neural network comprises receiving a first quantized matrix that corresponds to a portion of a multi-dimensional input tensor and has been quantized based on a first scale factor; and performing one or more computational operations using the first quantized matrix and the first scale factor to generate one or more data values that correspond to a first portion of a multi-dimensional output tensor.

  • Patent number: 11473668
Abstract: The present invention provides lubrication systems, apparatus and methods for efficiently and reliably lubricating the drive chain and drive sprocket of a chain-driven vehicle during operation. Embodiments of the invention include a body having a reservoir of lubricating oil that is attachable to the vehicle using existing mounting bolts, a valve for controlling a flow of the oil to the sprocket and chain, a channel providing fluid communication between the reservoir and the valve, and an applicator for applying the lubricating oil to a drive sprocket of the vehicle. Oil is transferred via gravity from the reservoir to the applicator, and via centrifugal force from the applicator to the sprocket and chain.

  • Patent number: 11355820
Abstract: A new weld configuration is used to obtain a robust and consistent resistance weld between the tabs of an anode current collector and the casing of an electrochemical cell. This is done by adding a resistive transferable electrode tip between at least one of the welding electrodes, preferably the movable welding electrode, and the stacked parts that are being joined together. The purpose of the transferable electrode tip is to generate a sufficient amount of heat during the welding process so that the stacked parts are joined together without adding any product functionality. In one embodiment of the present invention, the transferrable electrode tip is a stainless-steel ball, the stacked anode current collector tabs are of nickel, and the cell casing is of stainless-steel.

  • Patent number: 8924076
Abstract: A laminated vehicle glazing comprising: at least two glazing panes laminated together by at least one interlayer therebetween; at least one sensor which is manually operable by the presence of a user's hand contacting or proximal to at least one of the panes; at least one shield associated with the at least one sensor whereby the at least one sensor is manually operable by the presence of a user's hand from only one side of the vehicle glazing; and at least one connector electrically connected to the at least one sensor connectable to an external device for control of the external device by manual operation of the at least one sensor.

  • Patent number: 7763314
Abstract: A method of forming a matrix of electrowetting pixels includes forming a patterned layer of electrodes (512) on a substrate (510) and forming a patterned insulating layer (514) on the electrodes (512) and the substrate (510) to define a plurality of wells (516), each of the wells (516) aligned over one of the electrodes (512). A hydrophobic material (518) is formed on the bottom surfaces of the wells (516) and a hydrophilic material (526) is formed on sidewalls (519) of the wells (516), for example by one of selective reaction, selective deposition and selective etching, by the application of a beam (524) at an angle to impact the sidewalls (519) while substantially avoiding impacting the bottom surface (515). First and second liquids (532, 534) are disposed within the wells (516), the first liquid being not soluble in the second liquid.
