  • Patent number: 12756995
Abstract: A chlorinator system includes a swimming pool chlorinator, at least one transceiver that provides short-range communication between the swimming pool chlorinator and at least one pool and spa system component, a processor, and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium containing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations. The operations include receiving a short-range wireless communication request originating from the at least one pool and spa system component. Additionally, the operations include establishing a short-range wireless communication link with the at least one pool and spa system component. Further, the operations include receiving a control request from a remote computing device with instructions to control the at least one pool and spa system component and controlling the at least one transceiver to wirelessly transmit control signals to the at least one pool and spa system component.

  • Publication number: 20260167532
Abstract: A chlorinator system includes a swimming pool chlorinator configured to perform chlorination operations of a salt water pool system. The swimming pool chlorinator includes an electrolysis cell configured to receive a flow of pool water and to electrolyze sodium chloride in the pool water to generate chlorine and control electronics configured to control operations of the swimming pool chlorinator. Additionally, the chlorinator system includes a power source coupler configured to receive alternating current power from an alternating current power source. Further, the chlorinator system includes a synchronous rectifier configured to convert the alternating current power to generate a direct current power source to provide power to the swimming pool chlorinator.

  • Publication number: 20260171923
Abstract: Systems and methods for implementing variable frequency drive for pool or spa equipment using a synchronous rectifier are disclosed. An example pool or spa system includes an alternating current (AC) input connected to an AC power source; a pool automation controller; one or more pieces of rotating pool or spa equipment; and a variable frequency drive for driving the one or more pieces of rotating pool or spa equipment. The variable frequency drive includes a synchronous rectifier configured to convert the AC input to a direct current (DC) output. The synchronous rectifier includes a chipset and one or more switching components and an inverter configured to convert the DC output to an AC drive signal at a configured frequency.
