  • Publication number: 20240109394
Abstract: An aerodynamic vehicle includes an aerodynamic heat exchanger formed as one or more body panels disposed along an outer surface of the vehicle having one or more fluidic chambers or micro-channels. The aerodynamic heat exchanger is adapted to provide effective and highly efficient heat transfer, and also to provide substantially reduced or negligible contribution to the aerodynamic drag. The aerodynamic heat exchanger may provide adequate heat rejection capacity throughout vehicle operating conditions that advantageously results in increased fuel economy and overall vehicle performance.

  • Publication number: 20240100905
Abstract: An electric vehicle having a heat exchanger formed in an aerodynamic airfoil shape comprising one or more body panels disposed along an outer surface of the vehicle having one or more fluidic chambers or micro-channels. The heat exchanger is adapted to provide effective and highly efficient heat transfer, and also to provide substantially reduced or negligible contribution to the aerodynamic drag. The heat exchanger includes a supplemental heat exchange system wherein at least a portion of the heat exchange capacity is provided by an inner heat exchange surface of the heat exchanger exposed to an interstitial space within the vehicle. Airflow is forced, via a fan for example, from an aerodynamically-efficient inlet, over the inner heat exchange surface, and exhausted through an aerodynamically-efficient outlet, thereby providing a supplemental heat exchange system including substantially reduced or negligible contribution to the aerodynamic drag.

  • Publication number: 20240091422
Abstract: A renal therapy system is disclosed. In an example, the renal therapy system includes a home renal therapy machine that stores, to a log file, dates of when renal therapies were performed and a type of each renal therapy that was performed. The system also includes a server that receives the log file from the home renal therapy machine. The server compares the dates and types of performed renal therapies stored in the log file to a device program that specifies dates for performing renal therapies and the types of renal therapies to be performed. The server displays a flag in a user interface of a clinician computer when there is a deviation from the comparison.

  • Publication number: 20230009046
Abstract: A communications apparatus to be installed on high mast lighting systems or other vertical assets with significant above ground projections. The apparatus is designed to mount to existing light ring spokes or other existing mounting structures. The system is powered during nighttime hours by grid power and during daylight hours by internal battery storage. A uniquely-oriented directional dual polarity MIMO antenna adapted for high mast mounting supports communications with mobile vehicles using MIMO emissions in a North/South and East/West polarization. Mobile vehicle clients may then use dual polarized antennas including skyward-looking radiation patterns with major lobes that are oriented directly up towards the sky.

Abstract: A vent blade device mounting assembly (20). The assembly (20) including a first body part (24), a static jaw (38), a movable jaw (34), a spring (32), a second body part (26) and a link means (30). The static jaw (38) extends from the first body part (24). The movable jaw (34) extends from the first body part (24). The spring (32) biases the movable jaw (34) towards the static jaw (38). The second body part (26) telescopically mounts to the first body part (24). The link means (30) is between the second body part (26) and the movable jaw (34). Depression of the second body (26) part inwardly into the first body part (24) drives the link means (30) which in turn drives the movable jaw (34) away from the static jaw (38) against the bias of the spring (32).
