    Abstract: A pedestal assembly for supporting a seat including a first cylinder having an inner surface with a plurality of longitudinally-extending channels, and a second cylinder having an inner surface with a plurality of longitudinally-extending channels and an outer surface with a plurality of longitudinally-extending grooves. The assembly also includes a first bushing that is operably coupled to one end of the second cylinder by a plurality of fasteners received within an end of the channels of the second cylinder, and a second bushing that is operably coupled to one end of the first cylinder by a plurality of fasteners received within an end of the channels of the first cylinder. The second bushing includes a plurality of tabs slidably received within the channels on the inner surface of the first cylinder and is adapted to telescopingly guide the second cylinder within the first cylinder.
