  • Publication number: 20050271980
Abstract: A positive photosensitive resin composition of at least one uncapped polybenzoxazole precursor polymer, at least one capped polybenzoxazole precursor polymer, at least one photosensitive agent and at least one solvent, use of such compositions to pattern an image on a substrate and the resulting relied patterned substrates and electronic parts therefrom.

  • Patent number: 6454410
Abstract: The invention is a method and system for mosaicing images of the eye to create high resolution, wide-field ophthalmic images for the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases. The inventive method acquires a first image of the eye, acquires a second image of the eye, and processes the images to produce a mosaic representation. The second image includes a portion of the first image. To guide in acquiring the second image, the method may view the first image while acquiring the second image. The images typically are acquired using either a direct ophthalmoscope or a slitlamp biomicroscope. The method further may convert the images to a digital format. The step of processing includes aligning and merging the images, and conducting real-time processing and non-real-time processing.

  • Publication number: 20010043738
Abstract: The present invention is embodied in a video flashlight method. This method creates virtual images of a scene using a dynamically updated three-dimensional model of the scene and at least one video sequence of images. An estimate of the camera pose is generated by comparing a present image to the three-dimensional model. Next, relevant features of the model are selected based on the estimated pose. The relevant features are then virtually projected onto the estimated pose and matched to features of the image. Matching errors are measured between the relevant features of the virtual projection and the features of the image. The estimated pose is then updated to reduce these matching errors. The model is also refined with updated information from the image. Meanwhile, a viewpoint for a virtual image is selected. The virtual image is then created by projecting the dynamically updated three-dimensional model onto the selected virtual viewpoint.

  • Patent number: 6124178
Abstract: A method for forming a MOSFET device on a semiconductor substrate is disclosed here. First, a gate oxide layer, a polysilicon layer, a metal silicide layer and a silicon oxynitride layer are formed on the semiconductor substrate in sequence. Then, the silicon oxynitride layer, the metal silicide layer, the polysilicon layer and the gate oxide layer are etched to define a gate pattern. The sidewall spacers are formed on the sidewalls of the gate structure. The source and drain areas are defined by forming the doping areas in the semiconductor substrate. Next, a non-doped dielectric layer is formed above the semiconductor substrate to cover the gate structure, the sidewall spacers and the source/drain areas. An annealing procedure is next performed about 10 to 15 minutes at a temperature of about 800 to 850.degree. C. Then, a dielectric layer is formed on said non-doped dielectric layer.

  • Patent number: 5225840
Abstract: An efficient wideband low noise microwave signal generator for active radars. Separate transmit drive (TD) and receiver local oscillator (LO) signals are generated by use of a single programmable reference generator and two frequency synthesized signals separated in frequency by an offset precisely equal to the transmit drive offset. The frequency synthesized signals are respectively summed and subtracted in frequency with the reference generator signal to obtain signals which may be selected as the TD and LO signals.
