    Abstract: A die for a pellet mill is presented, where the die includes a permanent die housing, and a removable cutting insert that is received by the die housing. The interior region of the die housing is adjacent to the exterior region of the die. The die insert contains multiple extrusion holes, and the die housing has corresponding extension holes. The insert may be keyed into the housing to ensure the extrusion holes of the insert align with extension holes in the housing.
