    Abstract: A retrofittable remote controlled deadbolt operating system is provided for locking and unlocking a deadbolt lock. The system has a transmitter that activates a receiver located on the actuator of the lock to engage a motor which is connected to gears that are in turn connected to an adaptor that mates with the actuator. The adaptor transfers the force of the motor in the necessary direction for operating the lock. The system also has a panic alarm siren that can be activated by the remote control. The remote controller can also be used to operate an existing garage door opener, and to turn on lights.
