In some embodiments, a method for publishing how-to guides includes importing a plurality of multimedia items into a first processing device; specifying, at the first processing device, a plurality of steps of a multimedia instructional presentation by inputting narrative in association with the multimedia items; and causing the multimedia instructional presentation to be published onto an electronic medium.
