  • Patent number: 9921122
Abstract: A calibration rig (1), for calibrating a torque wrench (9), comprises a support structure (3) for supporting the torque wrench (9) during calibration. The support structure (3) comprises: a support member (7) which is free to move substantially vertically; means for applying a balance force (14, 15) to the support member (7), wherein the balance force acts counter to a force exerted by the weight of the torque wrench (9) when a handle of the torque wrench (9) is received by the support member (7); means for applying a measured torque (6) to the torque wrench (7); and means for resisting rotation (16) of the torque wrench (9) as a result of the applied torque.

  • Patent number: 9750364
Abstract: A mat comprises a profile bar, a metal strip with a high coefficient of friction, a U-clip, and a rivet rod is disclosed. The profile bar includes a head with a flat surface and a post including a hole. The metal strip includes a surface with a high coefficient of friction, and a plurality of posts opposite the surface with the high coefficient of friction, wherein the plurality of posts includes a hole. The rivet rod fits through the hole in the post of the profile bar and the hole of the plurality of posts of the metal strip. The U-clip includes notches, and the post of the profile bar rests in one of the notches while the plurality of posts of the metal strip rests in several of the notices. The rivet rod extends through the holes to couple the profile bar and the metal strip to the U-clip.

  • Publication number: 20060226682
Abstract: A furniture member cushion includes an exterior cover having opposed walls defining an interior cavity and a cushion fill opening. A first slit is created through the cover proximate to the cushion fill opening. A foam cushion member is disposed through the cushion fill opening and substantially fills the interior cavity. A second slit is created in the cushion member, and aligned with the first slit when the cushion member is disposed in the interior cavity. A plurality of seams are sewn through the opposed walls and the cushion member, at least one aligned with the first and second slits.

  • Patent number: 4848194
Abstract: A valve wrench comprising a wrench for valves having a hand wheel operator, combined with the elongated handle of an adjustable wrench to supply the leverage required. The valve wrench has an elongated body having an elongated, slightly tapered seat portion corresponding to the slightly tapered end portion of the handle of an ordinary adjustable wrench to receive such end portion of the handle therein. The corresponding tapered configuration keeps the valve wrench from slipping off the end of the adjustable wrench. A screw and washer extend through an aperture in the end of the adjustable wrench handle to clamp the bottom wall of the valve wrench securely against the facing wall of the adjustable wrench handle. The screw and washer may be replaced by a valve wrench that is integrally formed with an adjustable wrench. The working end of the valve wrench has speced apart inner and outer jaw members which define a jaw recess to snugly receive the rim of the hand operator of the valve.
