  • Patent number: 10530363
Abstract: A method of capacitive sensing may include transmitting a first sensing signal along a first transmitter electrode among various transmitter electrodes of an input device. The method may further include obtaining, using various receiver electrodes in the input device, a first resulting signal in response to the first sensing signal being transmitted along the first transmitter electrode. The method may further include obtaining a second resulting signal from a second transmitter electrode among the transmitter electrodes. The method may further include determining, using the second resulting signal, interference along the second transmitter electrode. The method may further include adjusting, using the interference along the second transmitter electrode, the first resulting signal to produce an adjusted resulting signal. The method may further include determining, using the adjusted resulting signal, positional information regarding a location of an input object in a sensing region of the input device.

  • Patent number: 7437139
Abstract: A method and apparatus of calibrating filtering of receive and transmit signals is disclosed. The method of calibrating filtering of a received signal includes injecting an LO signal. The injected LO signal is filtered by a tunable filter. The filtered signal is frequency down-converted with an equivalent LO signal. The frequency down-converted signal is sampled while tuning the filtering. A desired filter tuning is determined based upon the samples and a frequency of the LO signal. • Publication number: 20050063795
Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for transporting a solid rocket motor, rocket or other object. A transport for an object suitably includes a trailer having a longitudinal axis. A tail support coupled to the trailer has a notch configured to receive a pin affixed to the object to prevent movement along the longitudinal axis during transport. A chock assembly includes a chock and a trolley, wherein the chock is configured to accept the solid rocket motor and to pivot about a rotation axis that is substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the trailer. By pivoting with the object, the rotable chock maintains intimate contact with the object during transport and/or elevation, thereby improving response to flexing of the transport and reducing the possibility of damage to the object.

  • Patent number: 6262610
Abstract: A voltage sample and hold circuit for use as part of a low leakage charge pump circuit in a phase lock loop (PLL). During an inactive state of the charge pumping function, a MOSFET switch that normally connects the charge pump output to the loop filter preceding the voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) of the PLL is opened, e.g., for open loop modulation of the VCO. Meanwhile, the sample and hold circuit which has sampled the voltage at the input side of the MOSFET switch now maintains that voltage, thereby forcing a zero-voltage difference across the MOSFET switch. This zero-voltage difference virtually eliminates subthreshold leakage current through the MOSFET switch, thereby significantly reducing loss of charge in the loop filter due to such leakage current. This ensures a significantly more constant DC bias at the input to the VCO and, therefore, a more stable output center, or carrier, frequency from the PLL during open loop modulation.

  • Patent number: 5764108
Abstract: An apparatus for reducing the power consumed by, and the noise generated at the output of a charge pump which is part of a phase locked loop circuit. A reduction in the power consumed by the charge pump is achieved by synchronizing the powering up of the charge pump bias circuit to the state of the counters which control the timing of the signal which triggers a charge pump cycle. In this way current is supplied to the charge pump circuit only when needed for the operation of the pump. A reduction in the noise present at the output of the charge pump caused by the reloading of the counters while the pump is activated is achieved by loading a portion of the counter bits prior to activating the pump. A circuit detects when the counter is close to a value of zero and produces a signal which loads the most significant bits of the counter. When the counter reaches a value of zero, the remaining bits are loaded.
