Abstract: A biostimulator and a biostimulator system for septal pacing, is described. The biostimulator includes a joint to allow an electrode to pivot relative to a housing. The housing contains electrical circuitry that is electrically connected to the pacing electrode. The joint allows the pacing electrode to affix to target tissue of an interventricular septal wall of a heart when the housing is pivoted toward an apex of the heart. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a plumbing adapter for coupling a hose and a spout. The plumbing adapter is provided as a plumbing assembly. The plumbing adapter includes a first portion having a hose pipe, a second portion having a support assembly and a third portion having a lock assembly. The hose pipe connects to a tap spout of a water dispensing system. The support assembly includes two parallel arms to support the hose pipe at a first side. The lock assembly includes a pivoting assembly. The pivoting assembly includes a lever component, an arm component and a vertical threaded post connecting the lever component and the arm component at a second side. The pivoting assembly rotates to enable the plumbing assembly to make a transition between a lock position and an unlock position when the hose pipe is connected to the tap spout of the water dispensing system.

Abstract: A system for de-risking a pension fund, the system including: an input module for receiving asset class forecasts; a modeling module for modeling a plurality of portfolios based on the asset class forecasts to provide a de-risking framework; an asset mix module for receiving an asset mix for each of the model portfolios based on the de-risking framework; a database for storing data related to the asset class forecasts, the model portfolios, and asset mix; a processor configured to monitor the model portfolios for performance within the de-risking framework by: calculating an indicator of funded status volatility; comparing the indicator with a benchmark; and reporting the result. In particular, the indicator of funded status volatility is a liability tracking error and the benchmark is the liability tracking error of a conventional or standard pension portfolio.
