  • Publication number: 20130104744
Abstract: A satay grill rack comprised of a metal grill rack and a metal grill bar which, when assembled together, holds up satay meat skewers for grilling on a barbecue grill. The rack elevates the satay meat skewers above the surface of the barbecue grill and with the aid of a heat shield, makes holding the handle of the satay meat skewers easier and safer and reduces the chance of bamboo skewer handles burning. The grill rack is adjustable and can accommodate a plurality of meat skewers of different lengths.

  • Patent number: 6844180
Abstract: Novel proteins or polypeptides having significant sequence homology to DPPIV, nucleic acids coding therefor, cells which have been modified with such nucleic acid so as to express these proteins, antibodies to these proteins, screening methods for the discovery of new therapeutic agents which are inhibitors of the activity of these proteins or of related proteins, and therapeutic agents discovered by such screening methods, as well as new therapeutic treatments, are all provided.

  • Publication number: 20040187701
Abstract: Device which holds pieces of food so that a skewer may be inserted to form a skewer of food. Device comprises a base receptacle with a hinged cover lid. The base receptacle has a trough for holding several pieces of food. One end of the base receptacle has a V-shaped channel to guide a skewer inserted into the device. When the cover lid is closed onto the base receptacle, a wedge on the underside of the cover lid is lowered across the V-shaped channel, forming a path to guide a skewer through the approximate center of the pieces of food in the trough. An indentation at the opposite end of the trough allows the tip of the skewer to pierce through the last piece of food but not to the outside of the device. Sectional spacers shorten the length of the trough to create shorter skewers of food.

  • Patent number: 6148760
Abstract: The extendible parking guide with overhead track is an improved parking guide device for positioning a motor vehicle in an enclosed garage or similar parking area. The extendible parking guide includes a set of varying length rods which can be assembled into a longer rod device of various lengths. The top section of the extendible parking guide features a hook. The bottom section of the extendible parking guide is brightly colored for easy visibility. The extendible parking guide is hung from an overhead track which is fastened to the ceiling of the garage above a vehicle's windshield. The overhead track contains numerous openings along its length which allow the parking guide to be hung in different lateral positions, so that the parking guide makes contact with the windshield of the vehicle.
