  • Patent number: 7120677
Abstract: Systems and methods to integrate processing of information from a plurality of data systems. In an embodiment, a system includes a network connection, which can receive information sent to and from a terminal. The network connection is coupled to a first network, and the first network is coupled to the terminal. The system can also include a plurality of data system connections, where each data system connection of the plurality of data system connections can receive information sent to and from a respective data system of a plurality of data systems. A server is coupled to the network connection and the plurality of data system connections. In an embodiment, the server includes a processor and a memory coupled to the processor. The memory can include a plurality of data system instructions objects, where each data system instructions object of the plurality of data system instructions objects corresponds to a respective data system of the plurality of data systems.

  • Patent number: 5970920
Abstract: A brisket barrier for milking parlors includes a transverse bar mounted for sliding movement on vertical supports. The bar has a release position at floor level, a retaining position at brisket level, and an index position where it presses rearward against the brisket. The arrangement provides for uniform positioning of cows in standard stalls, regardless of the cows' size. The cows simply step over the lowered bar to exit the stall.

  • Patent number: 5937786
Abstract: A milking machine retractor includes a pair of rails affixed to a stall, the rails defining a path along which a carriage rides. The carriage has an arm extending away from the path, and a rod mounted on the arm is tethered to the milkers so that as the carriage moves away from the udder, the milkers are removed from the teats. The rails twist about the path so that the arm swings from a substantially vertical orientation at the lower end of the path to a substantially horizontal orientation at the upper end of the path. As a result of the resultant twisting carriage motion, the milkers are initially pulled down, off the teats, and then are withdrawn from the stall without touching the floor.
