    Abstract: An information processing apparatus, e.g., a personal computer, requests an electronic camera to send main image data. The main image data sent from the electronic camera is displayed on a CRT display. A transfer request for sub-image data is performed. The sub-image data that is received is superimposed on the main image and displayed on the CRT display. A transfer request of audio data is sent to the electronic camera. The audio data that is received is reproduced. Accordingly, data stored as a recording unit in the electronic camera is always received and displayed by the personal computer in a specified order.
