    Abstract: A method of locating a communication number prior to receiving an entire communication number being entered. One or more digits of a candidate communication number are received. A database is searched for a communication number corresponding to the one or more digits of the candidate communication number. A communication number corresponding to the one or more digits of the candidate communication number is located within the database. The located communication number corresponding to the one or more digits of the candidate communication number is transmitted to a presenting location prior to receiving the entire candidate communication number.
