Publication number: 20240036179Abstract: A coherence reconstruction apparatus generates measurements of atmospheric turbulence from light reflected by a target. The apparatus is in communication with a coherent beam combining (CBC) system which illuminates a target with one or more partially coherent beams from a seed laser. The apparatus includes a variable delay module and a phase shift interferometer (PSI). The delay module uses a measurement of target time-of-flight to form a coherent delayed reference signal from the CBC seed reference laser. The delay module may incorporate an electromagnetically induced transparency medium and/or an electro-optical modulator. The PSI combines the delayed reference optical signal with a target-reflected optical signal to form an interference pattern and to determine one or more turbulence phase correction measurements. The apparatus may include a controller for generating feedback and dynamic tuning signals.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 28, 2022Publication date: February 1, 2024Inventors: Daniel GOLUBCHIK, David SHWA, Steve ROGERS

Patent number: 11742891Abstract: RF-absorber assemblies for assisting PIM hunting at cellular base station antennas. An RF-absorber panel section includes a non-absorbing spacer layer adjacent to an antenna under evaluation. An RF-absorbing layer is positioned adjacent to the non-absorbing spacer layer. A low-PIM RF-shield layer is positioned adjacent to the RF-absorbing layer, so that the RF-absorbing layer is positioned between the RF-shield layer and the non-absorbing spacer layer. RF-absorber panel assembly kits include RF-absorber panel sections that removably attach to each other and to an assembly cover, which removably attaches over a panel antenna. A cylindrical assembly for a multi-directional antennas includes tapered RF-absorber sections within a cylindrical RF-absorber. An iris allows directional PIM hunting with the cylindrical RF-absorber. A PIM hunting procedure utilizes a full-perimeter RF panel assembly for directional PIM hunting.Type: GrantFiled: March 22, 2023Date of Patent: August 29, 2023Assignee: ConcealFab, Inc.Inventors: Thomas Bell, Jacob Lovelady, Evangelos Economou, Steve Rogers

Patent number: 11187351Abstract: A stand-off clamp cable mounting assembly includes a cable hanger mounting plate attached to extended threaded rods that also secure the clamp to a support structure. Attaching the mounting plate directly to the extended threaded rods of the clamp allows a wide range of cable hanger configurations to be created with a minimal number of parts. For example, alternative embodiments can be created by varying the stand-off distance, the alignment between the cable hanger mounting plate and the clamp, and the length of the cable hanger mounting plate. Additional embodiments can be created by attaching two cable hanger mounting plates to the same extended threaded rods on opposing sides of the clamp. Cable hanger mounting plates can be formed from flat plates as well as a variety of channels, such as channels with “C”, “Z”, “U”, and “comb” shaped end profiles.Type: GrantFiled: December 19, 2020Date of Patent: November 30, 2021Assignee: ConcealFab CorporationInventors: Thomas Bell, Steve Rogers, William Pounds, Jacob Lovelady

Patent number: 11152682Abstract: The present invention meets the needs described above through low-PIM universal antenna equipment mounts and associated assemblies for use at cell sites. The universal mounts are typically deployed in antenna equipment assemblies located in the nearfield reactive region behind the base station antennas. The mounts suppress PIM generation as compared to conventional equipment mounts even though the universal mounts are located well outside the main beam of the base station antenna. An illustrative universal mount includes a pressure bushing with a cap that includes a pair of parallel rails to stabilize the bushing on a metal mast. The rails allow the pressure bushing to transfer the load of the supported equipment to the curved surface of round cylindrical masts irrespective of the pipe diameter within the typical range of mast diameters, such as 2 inches to 6 inches in diameter.Type: GrantFiled: October 11, 2019Date of Patent: October 19, 2021Assignee: ConcealFab CorporationInventors: William Pounds, Thomas Bell, Steve Rogers

Publication number: 20210246856Abstract: An apparatus and a system is provided that may be utilized to determine air flow through an air filter and/or a plurality of air filters. The present invention utilizes a demonstration apparatus to illustrate the differences in air flow and air restriction between a plurality of different air filters and filtration media. The apparatus and system utilizes a common plenum which subjects the plurality of air filters to the same differential pressure. The air flows through a first side of the air filter and is measured on the second side of the air filter by utilizing a wind meter or similar device to gauge the amount of air flow velocity of the second side of the filter. Additionally, the apparatus and system utilizes a display means to illustrate the differing air velocity through the second side of the air filter.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 22, 2021Publication date: August 12, 2021Applicant: K&N Engineering, Inc.Inventors: John Reedy, Steve Rogers

Patent number: 10941883Abstract: A low-PIM, stackable polymeric cable hanger spacer that includes a polymeric base forming a rim that defines a latch surface for capturing locking metal barbs of interface brackets of a metal snap-in cable hanger. The spacer also includes polymeric legs extending from the polymeric base with polymeric barbs for latching to an adjacent snap-in cable hanger or other support member. The base allows the metal barbs to pass through the base when the metal barbs are deflected or compressed toward each other. and then allows the metal barbs to spring back to engage the latch surface and become captured by the polymeric spacer once the metal barbs clear of the rim. The base may have a round toroidal shape with rounded edges allowing the metal snap-in cable hanger to rotate with respect to the spacer.Type: GrantFiled: October 3, 2019Date of Patent: March 9, 2021Assignee: ConcealFab CorporationInventors: Thomas Bell, Steve Rogers
