Patent number: 10432560Abstract: Voice controlled multimedia content creation techniques are discussed in which a multimedia package is created and shared to a specified destination responsive to voice commands. The voice commands can be received by a device as a single stream (e.g., a single phrase) that causes automatic performance of a sharing sequence or as a series of multiple voice commands that are input in response to prompts for voice input as part of the sharing sequence. The voice commands can be recognized and handled by a content creation system of the device to select a clip for tagging of content (such as captured audio or video). The selected clip is then combined with the content to create the multimedia package. Voice commands can also be employed to specify a destination for sharing of the content, such as one or more contacts or a particular sharing site.Type: GrantFiled: July 17, 2015Date of Patent: October 1, 2019Assignee: Motorola Mobility LLCInventors: Steve S Kim, Joel Clark, Robert Zurek

Patent number: 9918227Abstract: In embodiments of network connectivity switching utilizing an authentication device for switching network connectivity from a first device to a second device, the authentication device receives a device switch indication from the second device, which can communicate via a cellular network. The authentication device communicates a device switch order to the first device, which is authenticated and communicatively linked for wireless communication via the cellular network. The authentication device communicates a network attach indication to the second device that then communicates an attach request to the cellular network, and the authentication device authenticates the second device to the cellular network. Alternatively, the authentication device receives a device switch indication from the second device and communicates a device switch order to the first device.Type: GrantFiled: November 23, 2015Date of Patent: March 13, 2018Assignee: MOTOROLA MOBILITY LLCInventors: Murali Narasimha, Krishna K Bellamkonda, Steve S Kim, Himanshu R Lokre, Yuanliang Lu, Jie Song, Hui Wang

Patent number: 9674704Abstract: In embodiments of network connectivity switching utilizing an authentication device for switching network connectivity from a first device to a second device, the authentication device maintains an address of the first device with a memory of a radio-frequency identification (RFID) tag, and the first device is authenticated for wireless communication via the cellular network. The authentication device receives an interrogation of the RFID tag from the second device, which can communicate via the cellular network, and responsive to an RFID tag response indicating the address of the first device, the second device communicates a device switch order to the first device, communicates an attach request to the cellular network, and writes an address of the second device to the memory of the RFID tag. The authentication device can then authenticate the second device to switch the network connectivity to the second device for wireless communication via the cellular network.Type: GrantFiled: November 23, 2015Date of Patent: June 6, 2017Assignee: Motorola Mobility LLCInventors: Murali Narasimha, Krishna K Bellamkonda, Steve S Kim, Himanshu R Lokre, Yuanliang Lu, Jie Song, Hui Wang
