The bowtie is resistant to twisting due to internal reinforcement. The brace prevents trunk rotation and “hiking up” of the brace during adjustment by a wearer. The bowtie portion resists twisting of a thoracic panel via a channel formed by fixation to a thoracic stabilizer.
