Abstract: A bag for filling with a weighted material includes a shell enclosing an inner cavity with an opening for access, a handle including a tubular body with a central passage, and first and second straps engaged with the handle and the bag. The first strap and the second strap each extend from within the central passage of the handle around the bottom of the shell and back into the central passage of the handle. Both the first strap and the second strap may be in non-fixed engagement with the bottom of the shell. Additionally or alternately, the first strap may be a peripheral strap, and the second strap may be a transverse strap that is transverse to the first strap, such that the first and second straps cross over each other on the bottom of the shell.
