In one embodiment, a system for managing a data center includes a control module for gathering data related to at least one server in the data center, the data being gathered from a plurality of sources, and a user interface coupled to the control module for displaying the gathered data to a user in a centralized manner. The control module is further configured to receive a command from the user, the command relating to the operation of the server, and to transmit the command to server.
