Abstract: An apparatus and method for masking interference noise contained in a signal source. According to the present invention, the apparatus comprises: a pseudo random binary sequence generator for generating a digital dither signal; a scrambler for receiving an offset signal and generating a dithered offset signal by scrambling the offset signal with the digital dither signal; a digital-to-analog converter for converting the dithered offset signal into an analog dithered offset signal; a summing device for generating a dithered image signal in response to the analog dithered offset signal and the analog image signal; and an analog-to-digital converter for converting the dithered image signal into the digital image signal.

Abstract: A mixed signal codec includes: a multiplexer amplifier 24 having an analog output signal; a sigma-delta analog to digital converter 26 having an input coupled to the analog output signal; and a clipping circuit 40 and 42 coupled to the input of the analog to digital converter for clipping the analog output signal.

Abstract: Disclosed is a Christmas motion ornament which includes an AC motor set received inside a hollow, semi-spherical shell, a cover covered on the AC motor set, a rotary table decorated with animate toy ornaments and disposed above the cover and having a bottom gear meshed with a pinion on the output shaft of the AC motor set, and a fixed table decorated with inanimate toy ornaments and fixed to a pin dowel being protruded over the rotary table through a hole thereof.

Abstract: A display device has a housing in which sound (a music IC), light (light strings), and power (light string AC motors) elements are combined. At least one master light string is used as the power source, supplying the AC motor necessary power so that the motor can drive a transmission mechanism. Ornaments connected to the transmission mechanism are then movable in the display device providing an attractive and lovely scene. Separate toy figures having an independent light string AC motor may be directly connected to the light string which provides power required for the toy figures to move in a designed manner.

Abstract: This invention is related to an AC motor with larger torque which is adapted to plug into a lamp socket of a string-set of series connected decorative lamps directly so as to utilize the output of the AC motor to drive the transmission means of the doll apparatus to do a variety of action just in low current of the string-set. Furthermore, utilizing this doll apparatus, we can design an ornamental Santa Claus, a tree top angel, or a flying angel saving as the ornament of X'mas tree with the string-set.
