  • Publication number: 20160046795
Abstract: A gas barrier material includes an atomic sheet, such as graphene and/or an analog of graphene. The gas barrier material can be arranged as part of a component, such as a container or other vessel, to limit the flow or permeation of gas through the component. Where the component is a container or part of a container, the gas barrier material may be formulated and arranged to limit or prevent gas ingress or egress with respect to the internal volume of the container. The atomic sheet offers improved gas barrier properties compared to traditional polymeric barrier materials and is particularly useful in applications where it is desired to limit permeation of small gas molecules such as helium, such as airships or other lighter than air vehicles.

  • Patent number: 9256401
Abstract: Enhancing dynamic code. A method includes obtaining one or more first data structures defining constructs in a body of dynamic language source code. From the one or more first data structures, identifier information is extracted for one or more of the defined constructs. Knowledge about the constructs is augmented. Using the identifier information and augmented knowledge, metadata about the body of the dynamic language source code is generated. The generated metadata is represented as a symbol table. The body of dynamic language source code is visually enhanced based on the symbol table structure.

Abstract: A method of fabricating a solar cell is disclosed. The method includes forming a polished surface on a silicon substrate and forming a first flowable matrix in an interdigitated pattern on the polished surface, where the polished surface allows the first flowable matrix to form an interdigitated pattern comprising features of uniform thickness and width. In an embodiment, the method includes forming the silicon substrate using a method such as, but not limited to, of diamond wire or slurry wafering processes. In another embodiment, the method includes forming the polished surface on the silicon substrate using a chemical etchant such as, but not limited to, sulfuric acid (H2SO4), acetic acid (CH3COOH), nitric acid (HNO3), hydrofluoric acid (HF) or phosphoric acid (H3PO4). In still another embodiment, the etchant is an isotropic etchant. • Publication number: 20150364919
Abstract: Electrical power load data is obtained for a power consumption facility for a period of time of at least one year. A load duration curve is created for the power consumption facility for the period of time based on the electrical power load data. Anticipated electrical power production data is obtained for an inverter-based power generator for the period of time. A power generation curve is created for the inverter-based power generator for the period of time. The power generation curve is evaluated against the load duration curve to determine a required electrical power supply capacity and duration for an electrical storage system to cover peak power demand of the power consumption facility. An energy storage technology and configuration of the electrical storage system is determined for satisfying required electrical power supply capacity and duration for the electrical storage system to cover peak power demand of the power consumption facility.
