Abstract: A switchable pump device is provided and comprises a pump assembly including first and second pumps each having a separate inlet and outlet, an inner core or shell housing the pump assembly, and an outer shell housing the inner shell and having a pair of openings. The outer shell is interconnected to the inner shell such that the inner shell is movable relative to the outer shell to enable the inlet and outlet of a selected one of the first and second pumps to be aligned with the pair of openings in the outer shell to place the selected one of the first and second pumps in an operational condition while the other of the first and second pumps is positioned in an inoperative condition.

Abstract: Disclosed is a cardio-pulmonary health monitoring apparatus. The apparatus comprises a contactless motion sensor configured to generate one or more movement signals representing bodily movement of a patient during a monitoring session; a processor; and a memory storing program instructions configured to cause the processor to carry out a method of processing the one or more movement signals. The method comprises extracting one or more sleep disordered breathing features from the one or more movement signals, and predicting whether a clinical event is likely to occur during a predetermined prediction horizon based on the one or more sleep disordered breathing features.

A memory contains instructions configuring at least a processor to receive optical data from a sensor comprising a machine vision system in electronic communication with the at least a processor, wherein the machine vision system is configured to identify at least one object within optical data. At least a processor is configured to determine a procedural performance parameter as a function of optical data wherein determining the procedural performance parameter comprises classifying the at least one object within optical data to an optical data category using an optical data classifier. At least a processor is configured to compare a procedural performance parameter to a procedural performance threshold. At least a processor is configured to display procedural training feedback through a display unit as a function of a comparison.

Abstract: A smoke generating assembly for an indoor smoker includes a smoke barrel having a rotating auger positioned therein. The smoke barrel may be supplied with combustible material at a first end of the smoke barrel and the auger may be intermittently rotated to advance the combustible material toward a second end of the smoke barrel and over a smoldering heater to generate a flow of smoke. The smoldering heater may be spaced apart from the smoke barrel by an insulating spacer to regulate a temperature of the smoke barrel independent of the smoldering heater.

Each four-bar linkage system includes a drive arm that is mechanically coupled to the drive gear and a support arm that maintains the grate in a substantially horizontal orientation while moving between the raised position and the lowered position. According to one embodiment, the method may comprise the steps of: issuing a transaction card to a cardholder by associating the transaction card with a demand deposit account from which the cardholder is authorized to electronically disburse funds; receiving an authorization request for an attempted transaction between a merchant and the cardholder, the authorization request containing information associated with the transaction card and the attempted transaction; processing the authorization request based on one or more predetermined business rules; authorizing the transaction without immediately settling the transaction against the demand deposit account of the cardholder; and settling the transaction, at a time subsequent to the execution of the transaction, through automated clearing house (ACH) from funds retained within the demand deposit account of the cardholder.

Abstract: A system of accessing through a financial processing network multiple accounts associated with a single financial card. Data is input to the financial network in addition to the transaction data and the account identification data that in read from the card. This addition data permits the proper account to be accessed. The data may be input at the point of sale as an account selection. In this instance, the selection may be used to route the transaction data through the financial processing network or may be used to read data regarding one of multiple accounts encoded on the card. The data may also be stored as conditional routing rules at transfer points in the financial processing network. In this instance, the transaction is routed to the proper account based on the stored rules.
