  • Publication number: 20240232799
Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods, devices, and systems for improving efficiency of operators of powered industrial trucks (PITs) during material handling. According to one embodiment, a method is implemented on a localized computing system mechanically coupled with a PIT. The method includes providing map overlay data to a human machine interface (HMI) communicatively coupled with the localized computing system; receiving, over a wireless network, pickup location data for an item, and drop-off location data for the item; receiving current location data associated with the PIT; and providing display relative pickup location data, display relative drop-off location, and current location data to the HMI.

  • Publication number: 20180034817
Abstract: Bulk joining of computing devices to an identity service is performed in two parts. In the first part, a user of a token retrieval device provides credentials to an identity service, which verifies the credentials and provides to the token retrieval device a bulk token for joining the service. In the second part, the bulk token obtained from the identity service is provided to each computing device in a group of multiple computing devices that are to join the identity service. Each computing device in the group of computing devices communicates with the identity service to join the identity service using the bulk token. The bulk token can be provided to each of the multiple computing devices in the group as part of a provisioning package that includes additional configuration information to be used to configure the computing devices in the group.

  • Patent number: 5096036
Abstract: One face of a coupling disc (i.e., the armature or rotor) of an electromagnetic coupling such as a clutch or brake is formed with a plurality of radially spaced and circumferentially extending grooves. The other face of the disc is formed with a plurality of radially spaced rows of circumferentially extending slots which communicate with the grooves so as to form air gaps completely through the disc. In the preferred embodiment, each groove is circumferentially continuous while each row of slots is defined by circumferentially spaced slots which are separated by short bridges. By virtue of forming the grooves in the disc, only a small thickness of material need be removed from the disc in order to form the slots.
